Synopsis: A cold front will move into the region today and stall west of the area tonight. Low pressure will develop along the front and move across on Monday afternoon, with showers along the front. High pressure will build into the region Tuesday with another low pressure system expected to impact the area on Wednesday with cool, rainy weather for the day. High pressure is expected to build back over the area in late in the week.

Synopsis: High pressure will build into the area through Saturday; a weak cold front will move through Sunday. Weak low pressure will develop on the front and move northeast on Monday. A strong cold front will provide a period of impactful weather Christmas Eve into Christmas morning, after which, cold high pressure will build back in late week and through the weekend, with the first frosts of the season likely.

I haven't calculated the averages, but I'd say that measurable snowfall occurs once every 10 years or so, with the last occurrence being in the January 2018 cold wave, before which on December 2010.
