Not gonna lie, that's pretty fucking good. That May though, so stable! (to AW's climate)
And yeah, that Melbourne year looks horrible. Far too much drizzle.

Nikkaluokta 1966, coldest year on record for a location in Sweden among the 100 main SMHI stations... Quite severe cold there!

Wow, that's terrible. I'm can't even pick what month is the worst. February with an average of -24? August with an average high of 14? September with highs of just 5.5? October's max only 6 and min of -26?
March is extremely wet for those diurnals. There had to be a few days with low ranges to get that wet, so there must be some huge ranges too.
March, October, and December look very snowy. When did snow cover end and start? Late May and early October, with a bit of summer snow too?

Lol, what the hell is the "100 main stations"? What's the point of limiting stations? If you have a working station, use it. Limiting it to actual places live at makes sense, but not limiting for the sake of limiting.

A few particularly cold years in Saskatoon... 1950 featured Saskatoon's coldest month ever (January) with a whopping 13 days with lows below -40 and is one of the coldest years on record. 1951 had the coldest yearly mean that I was able to find. 1972 was quite cold as well and featured the single worst July that I could find in Saskatoon.

Let me introduce you to 2005, the year with 2 months above average and everything else being a cold cloudy mess. It was the year i began to hate september as a really cold month and the year that we didn't see 35C until january.

January 1950 is incredibly cold, it looks like somewhere out of Siberia. I didn't know that was possible, the January average on Wikipedia is -13.9, so it never reached the average high for an entire month. And it was about 20 degrees below normal for the entire month! Wow.

Yep, those temperatures would be considered below average even in many parts of Nunavut and the Northwest Territories. In fact, the mean temperature for January 1950 in Saskatoon is exactly equal to the 30-year January mean temperature for Alert, Nunavut, which is at 82 degrees north and has had zero sunshine for a couple months by the time January rolls around. Pretty ridiculous levels of cold...

I'm glad I wasn't here to experience this. It was hot in Mississippi too, but not this extreme, and it wasn't nearly so dry. As a side note, is 2017 the least snow in a calendar year on record here? I always assumed it would be 2012, but apparently not!

December was the sunniest month on record in total hours but not in % (August '91 averaged 9.7, which I expect is the most). And in Western Sydney

The coldest month ever recorded in mainland Norway was February 1966 in Karasjok with mean -27.1°C - and that's at 69°N. Saskatoon seems to have very nice summers.
