Created the July 2017- June 2018 NH Perth climate box. As you can see a wet winter followed by an extended yet mild summer with little variation and a huge downpour in july (jan 2018). Normal sunshine and above average rainfall. I'd give this a B+ purely because of the good extended summers (i was out of perth december 2017, parts of jan 2018 and late feb-early june so i missed a lot of the extended warmth and just got the poor summer weather.

Did the same thing but for Melbourne Airport. I adjusted the sunshine totals for each new month, but everything else remains the same. Handsome ensoillement and a nice plateau during the summer months.

The most epic summer in Rochester history. 1936, 1949, 1955 and 2016 were all amazing but none of them could beat 1952! And the rest of the year except for May is great too. If only we could have a repeat of this...

I had always thought of 1950 as an unusually hot year for some reason, so I was very surprised to find this! What an odd year. Almost certainly KC's mildest summer/winter combination. I'm fairly certain it's the least snow in a calendar year, too - until doing this box I thought it was 2016.

Darwin's wettest year on record, ridiculous rainfall totals and 3 days of more than 200mm in a year. I'd give it a C-, way too hot year round (even for its averages) and way too much rain.

How's this for a weird weatherbox. I'm willing to bet half the winter rain days (0.2mm) are frost melt or even snow melt. Still, impressive sunshine hours and close to the hottest temperature recorded there, off by 0.1ยฐC

Been slowly jabbing away at this task, graphing out 2010-2017 in Perth. 2010: a very dry and sunnier year with diurnals 0.9C larger than average. Winter was one of the coldest in terms of minimums and also had the coldest june, july, august, september, november and december lows. 2011: a long, hot and dry summer precedes a pretty consistently wet winter and spring, a cloudy year too. 2012: my favourite guilty pleasure film; also a drier year with a plateaued winter and early spring of sorts. 2013: a pretty hot and extended summer with one of the hottest first halves of april ever. 2014: a pretty average year asides from the very dry and sunny summer and pretty decent spring. 2015: pretty average but a nice and warm october and the hottest day between 2010 and 2017 of 44.4C in january. 2016: the coldest winter since the early 1990s and a cold year altogether, cloudy too and a very slow spring warmup. An honourable mention were the 4 days of 40C+ at the metro station on the 7th-10th of february, coincidentally the same dates as the only other time it's happened, 7th-10th feb 1933. 2017: a cooler, wetter and cloudier than average year with a horrid summer but awesome november to make it up. Here are the averages: And the averages with one decimal:

These are the 1993-2017 perth metro averages you can compare the 2010-2017 averages to.

Malmรถ July 2006-June 2007, thoughts Babu ? Very good. Why not use Lund though? By the looks of things, Malmรถ's daily means were slightly higher. I also made a mistake with June, but have fixed it now.

Forgot about 2009, wow that summer and autumn are excellent with little precipitation. Also around now the government was putting lots of advertisements and restrictions on water use...easy to see with hindsight. Without June-September there was only 118.2mm of rain for the other 8 months.

In our series 'Rediculous Years': Kuopio 1992! This is so rediculous on so many levels that I doubt I have to clarify them.
