I present to you the climate of my location, as perceived by the average person around here. All of its stupid quirks are explained below: - Winters are extremely brutal, frigid with frequent strong winds and heavy snowfalls.
- But then the first days over 5'C, let alone over 10'C, are always hyped up as "really warm nice days!" and "spring is here!" type of crap.
- ApRiL sHoWeRs bRiNg MaY FlOwErS!
- Summer is very hot and very humid, 90'F with 90% humidity being commonplace. It stays very warm and extremely humid at night too, which means that people can't sleep even with their AC set at 16'C.
- Fall (especially September) has huge diurnal ranges, so you don't know how to dress on any given day.
What do you guys think? Stupidly awesome or just plain stupid? For me it's an E; those winters and summers are both way too intense, the only really comfortable months are April-May and September-October. Pinging alex992For Wisconsinites' ideal climate, see here.

Lol this looks like Winter Haven (my dream climate) on steroids.
I actually quite like the cold season (Oct - Apr) but the rest of the year is hot garbage. I'd give it a D.

Yeah, you got a few people's idea of the weather in Wisconsin here. Arctic winters, hot humid summers. It's a terrible climate though. F for those insane summer dews. Spring is tolerable and fall is quite nice. March would make a good winter month but actual winter is too extreme.

D.
March, April, September, October, and November get a B. Rest of the year is F- quality.

F+, only saved by the pleasant periods Late April through May and Mid September through Early October; and the relatively good sunshine in the warmer half of the year. The winters are dark, frigid and snowy, comparable to much of Siberia; and will make me SAD. They also risk death with those horrid record lows, especially if the electricity fails. The short summers are far too intense, with dangerous wet bulbs (34.2ΒΊC in July on average) risking plenty of heat strokes for the less-healthy. Overall, its just a stereotype, not reality fortunately.
