31.0C yesterday, forecast today 32C, tomorrow 30C. If it happens it'll be four 30C days (with a fifth 29.9C) this month. Last year's Septictember had none.

avalon and geelong getting destroyed by a seabreeze with 17C, and we are at 25C. sweet sweet schadenfreude damn that's a penis mcghee moment right there - for Geelong that is. I remember some instances in summer when the overnight low in Melbourne was warmer than the high in Geelong on the same day! Taking a while to warm up here, 26C as of midday, while it's 30 in Mildura, low 30's slightly further north, even Adelaide is beating us. The dewpoint here is higher though. Supposedly there is the chance of storms tonight, according to anecdotes on Weatherzone. Some high based showers appeared on radar over us last night in much drier air, completely unexpected.

parts of Melbourne warming up nicely. 1am and 19.7C at the airport and only 16.7C at Olympic Park. Essendon Airport and Scoresby are above 20C while other suburbs in the south and the NE are only around 14-15C. Most suburbs showing temp increases, Scoresby and the airport up from 14C earlier this evening.
Still 22.5C here at 12:30am

Very hot in Sydney over the weekend, but unfortunately I was sick and couldn't enjoy it Also Bankstown Airport has been out of action for the past couple of days. Record warm September night as well, 23C, breaking the previous record set in 2003, very uncomfortable night all told, even despite being sick. Perhaps it was just a system shock, up till now we've had some the coldest September nights for nearly 20 years.

For the past month every time I look out the window all there is cloud, meanwhile for the past month straight all Sydney has gotten is sun so you better shutup and stop complaining

The recent warmth has pushed September MTD above avg, MTD is 22.8C, 0.8C above the avg. Tomorrow forecast to reach 29C, and the last few days of the month 22-23C so the month should come in above avg. Things really picked up during the second half of this month. For comparison, Septictember 2016 averaged a high of 19.3C, more than 3C below this month so far! 2016 had no days above 30C, this month so far has 4 days with a 5th at 29.9C. Absolute highs stand at 28.4C vs 34.2C. The wind is still out of control, but I can forgive that now

"The thunder didn't maded to the area bro" "altea gets 5 thunders a mnth bro, it really helping the 560000 palms outside my grandma flat" honestly though, maybe beercules' theory about south australians being inbred derpoids holds some merit
