Saskatoon managed to avoid major snowfall the last couple days, but other parts of the province got hit fairly hard. Portions of the Trans-Canada Highway were closed this morning.
Got a couple chilly days ahead of us and then back to seasonal conditions. Really wish we'd get a few good rainy days though, we've still had barely any precipitation in recent times and have uninterrupted sunshine almost everyday in the forecast. Bad for the fire risk, and dew points are too low for my liking.

Warmest day so far. Low of 11.0C and high of 18.6C in Riga.
Wow, that's pretty warm. Didn't expect that.
One day warmth. Down to 4.4C this morning. Overcast, drizzle and high should be 7C today. Mild weather will return this week-end.

Will be a day with a decent diurnal (by our standards), low this morning was 62 F (16.7 C) and we're headed up to 86 F (30 C / Per NWS) or 90 F (32.2 C / Per TWC). Up to 70 F (21.1 C) with a 66 F (18.9 C) dew point as of 9 am....today would be a great summer day.
Forecast looking hot here. Potentially getting mid 90s (34-35 C) this weekend.

Stuff that happens in those places where no one is ever looking at…
- Highest low recorded in April in the Southern Hemiphere (31.7°C). - 2nd highest maximum recorded in April in the Southern Hemisphere (44.8°C), only 0.2°C from the #1.
The lowlands of NW South Africa and their Berg wind events for you.
(Notice that even freaking Walvis Bay reached 41C!!!)

Definitely in a nice peak spring look here. Greenest the grass will get, most trees starting to leaf out, blossoms were in peak bloom a couple days ago, and plenty of flowers. 70 tomorrow and then 50 and rainy Thursday. That's April for you.

Good weather here today, high/low of 73/50 with partly cloudy skies. Typical May weather today, but tomorrow and Friday will be like March with 52/41 and 2" of rain forecast. Then it's back to average

Upside-down weather in Melbourne, much warmer at midnight than midday ( source: Weatherzone ) If there's one thing we know about Melbourne weather, it's that it is predictably unpredictable and reliably unreliable. Wait five minutes if you don't like the weather, and all that.
And the Victorian capital was up to some of its finest tricks on Tuesday night, with a reading of 19.4°C at midnight, after the mercury had reached just 15.8°C at midday on Tuesday.
Yes, Melbourne was 3.6°C warmer in the middle of the night than in the middle of the previous day.
Why?
It was all thanks to relatively warm air being pushed across the city from the north ahead of a cold front. Cloudy skies also contributed to a night was much warmer than you'd expect in April.
Melbourne's average April minimum is 10.8°C Last night, the officially recorded minimum was 16.8°C, but temps only dropped after dawn as the cloud moved away. Indeed, it was still as warm as 20.0°C at 5:20 am this morning. It won't get much warmer than that today, with showers and a top of 21°C forecast Meanwhile Sydney is also in the throes of a summery mid-April burst, as the warm air tracks eastwards. Top temps of 29°C are on the cards, and the harbour city had already reached 24.1°C by 10:30 am.

Had a dusting of snow last night with 0.4” (1 cm). It all melted by midday though.
Tomorrow is supposed to get 2-4” which hopefully happens.
Been a pretty dry April so far. Normally our 2nd wettest month but only 0.13” (3 mm) has fallen on 2 days.

That's about what DC typically looks like in the last week of March / first week of April during an average year. Looks gorgeous though. Here we had a low of 64 F (17.8 C) this morning, wind calmed down late at night and allowed it cool off quite a bit after 3 AM: w1.weather.gov/data/obhistory/KFXE.htmlWarming up fast this morning, already up to 77 F (25 C) with a 63 F (17.2 C) dew point as of 10 am, headed up to 86 F (30 C) and sunny today. Heat wave coming this weekend with 90s in the forecast for both Saturday and Sunday.

Definitely don't miss the April snow in Bunghole. In Seoul such a thing would be nearly impossible
