We had a high of 64°F (18°C) yesterday, with heavy rain much of the day. It was definitely one of the coldest days I've experienced so late in the year. Unlike North Dakota, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, we're not supposed to hit 30°C any time in the next week.

^ Yep. Been seeing that both Grand Forks and Fargo in North Dakota are forecast to hit 35-36 C this week, TWC has Grand Forks hitting 99 F (37.2 C) on Friday and they have Fargo at 99 F (37.2 C) on Friday and 101 F (38.3 C) on Saturday! Exciting heat wave up there. NWS Grand Forks weather story: TWC Grand Forks forecast: TWC Fargo forecast: Nice, enviro Canada is forecasting 38C here Friday and 35C Saturday. They've just bumped Saskatoon up to 36C for Thursday. We'll see if it actually happens. But fair chance we get our hottest temperature of the year this week.

When storms don't die right in the ass when they approach this region, they pop up just after the convergence line had passed:
