11% humidity this evening. Way too dry for my liking. We could really use some rain right now but there's none in the forecast.

High was only 35 (2 c) today, a new daily record and the coldest high this late since 1954.
Had 0.04โ (1 mm) of precipitation fall as wet snow, but nothing stuck. Still a bit of snow on the ground from Monday but down to patches now.

I will experience that on Saturday. A 4C high and sleet on the forecast. For the Artukainen station the lowest high temp on that date is 7.0C, but of course records only go back to 2003.

Today is one those days - right around freezing, windy as hell, very cloudy, and with flurries expected, a stark contrast to yesterday's 19C and sunny weather. Hopefully this is the last blast of chilly weather like this until the fall. Thankfully April's been really nice aside from a couple days like this.

Well, just as I fucking predicted, we didn't drop below 70 F (21.1 C) last night even though we had a predicted low of 65 F (18.3 C).
To be fair though, it is indeed much more pleasant than it's been, 77 F (25 C) with a 62 F (16.7 C) dew point at FXE, 78 F (25.6 C) with a 58 F (14.4 C) dew point as of 11 am. Headed up to 84 F (28.9 C) with a 30% chance of showers/storms today. Dews are set to increase to the 17-19 C range by the afternoon.

Not the ideal cold front (no dry NW flow), but we have blue skies for the first time since Sunday and the high is only supposed to be 80 F (27 C) with a nice ocean breeze. Could be a lot worse.

Horrible spring weather today. Feels about average for December. 50 and cloudy, windy . Thankfully no frost last night, things are very leafed out and lush. Multiple models are on board with 80s next week!

Horrible spring weather today. Feels about average for December. 50 and cloudy, windy . Uh, December has an average high of 44 in NYC. And no day has an average >49. So no, that would not be about average for December. November is closer.

I looked up mine for interest. 19 April is the last average below freezing, so pretty close to you. OTH the first average is 15 November, which could be expected for a coastal location.

I imagine your climate is also much more stable and your first and last sub-freezing lows are probably much closer to the average date than ours. For us, late May through early September is our season of reliable above-freezing lows for us, a full month shorter on each end compared to the average date.

I don't have the stats at hand, but IIRC the average of the last freeze is around 10 May, and first is around 7 October. Or something among those lines. In June 2009 we saw a low of -0.3C so those freak lows do happen once every 20 years or so, and 6 September 1961 had a low of -0.1C, with the 7th having a low of -1.0C. What evens it out is that we might not see a first freeze until the late days of October, but the May freezes are usually quite stable, less than 20% of years don't see freezes in that month.
