Ohhh shit, we may have stayed above freezing tonight! The lowest hourly reading for today is sitting at 0.6C, so it's gonna be pretty close. We'll find out when they publish today's stats tomorrow. Also the temperature could still drop over the next hour or two, so fair chance we could end up below freezing.
But either way this is the mildest night we've had in over four months, so that's pretty awesome.
Pretty seasonal day today, dropped to 62 F (16.7 C) this morning and it's currently 77 F (25 C) with a 55 F (12.8 C) at HWO and 80 F (26.7 C) with a 55 F (12.8 C) dew point at FXE. We're supposed to have some storms later and temps dropping to 71-72 F (22 C) by the afternoon.

No rain is expected for much of the Southeast for the next week.

Well, it looks like we just very narrowly avoided staying above freezing all day yesterday - the official low was -0.1C. So close! No chance it'll happen this week as the warmest low in the forecast is -4C.
Edit: we did reach our first mean above freezing since November 6th, though.

Nice and breezy day today, morning low was 60 F (15.6 C) and it's currently 73 F (22.8 C) with a 57 F (13.9 C) dew point and a nice northerly breeze. Heading up to 76 F (24.4 C) with mostly sunny skies. Might have some wind gusts of 35-40 mph (56-64 km/h) today.
Very warm weather coming for Minneapolis the next three days with three consecutive days of 60 F (15.6 C) or above, and even nearing 70 F on Tuesday! Getting up to 68 F (20 C) which is about 30 F (16.7 C) above average for the time of year.

The past two weeks have been mild and mostly sunny. After a cold few weeks it feels like spring, and this sort of weather is the best way to melt the deep snow without causing a flooding issues. Snow depth reached 22" at the airport (56cm) but is patchy now and should be mostly gone with the 50s coming this week. The rain in the forecast is also the first rain in about 2 months. With the mild winter and deep snow during the cold periods, the frost in the ground is less deep than normal, so it could maybe thaw out faster than normal. Or maybe it'll turn wet and cold and stay muddy through April instead. Shady spots are nowhere near melted so it may be a while.

Warmed up to 69 (20.6 c) today, the warmest it’s been this year.
Looks like after Wednesday below average weather is coming back although coming from Shitchester, there’s worse than low 40s in March.
There’s some green blades of grass poking through—seems early for grass to be growing but also seems random for some of last year’s grass to still be green.
Everything still looks pretty dead here. In spite of temperatures being at or slightly above normal after the mega-Arctic-ice-blast, the mega-Arctic-ice-blast was so cold I think it will make spring a couple weeks later than normal. Normally now is when I start to see the first blooms and buds, but I've seen almost nothing.

Huge diurnal range coming up in Windsor, the forecast shows them going down to -7C tonight and then up to 17C tomorrow. Even out here that would be among the largest diurnal range you could expect in any given year, and I think they're a bit more stable than we are so that's truly impressive.

Ok so this is interesting. Last night's predicted low was 56 F (13.3 C) per TWC and 58 F (14.4 C) per NWS, and it ended up dropping to 53 F (11.7 C) at HWO, 56 F (13.3 C) at FXE, and 50 F (10 C) here at my house this morning! Quite an over performance down here! The penis got de-penis'd. The anti-interesting weather shield cracked. The penis stepped into some cold water and shriveled up.
Currently dark, breezy and 65 F (18.3 C) as of 11 am with a 47 F (8.3 C) dew point. Feels very nice outside.
