@b87 You're looking at 06Z (i.e., 6 AM GMT) lol. GFS has max temps in the mid-50s F for May 25th for most of the UK.

It is really warm now in the easternmost East Europe. Glorious weather forecast for the capital of Udmurtia.

Finally, some damn rain! Not sure it's gonna add up to much at all since it just seems to be a passing cloud, but we got some pretty decent sized drops for a few minutes there. It also smells like rain outside now which is really nice, haven't smelled that in a really long time

Sleeting @ 2° C here throughout the morning (948 m)—0.7 mm, so a little more than a trace. First "snowy day" of the year at my PWS (i.e., > 0.1 mm of water-equivalent sleet/snow).

Amazing day here, dry and mostly sunny with a high/low of 76/56, humidity got down to just 16% with dews in the 20s. Loving this warm, dry pattern and hoping it translates into a dry summer

Had the first real thunderstorm of the year this evening. Had some nice thunder and lightning and produced a beautiful double rainbow. The rain was light and brief and became a sunshower.

It's at 57N? I haven't achieved a run like that Jackoffuary of this year. By that logic, it should be 27-32/45-50C every day here. Mi Scusi while I locate a bridge.

Decent May weather in Latvia this week-end 15 and 16 May, not as warm as in the beginning of the week, but still highs reaching 20C, just fine.

Yet another forecast upgrade. Our 30C high on Monday is now expected to be followed by a 15C low. Of course, Environment Canada's forecasts always seem to overshoot the lows, but still it's a good sign. A couple days of real summer weather coming up.
Yesterday's very brief rain indeed turned out to be nothing quantity-wise but humidity is higher despite that and we've got another potentially stormy day on the way today.

It's looking like the second half of May could be even colder than the first half now, which will mean a record cold month is guaranteed.
The MetOffice outlook, "wintry showers".
Met Office - Longer Range Forecast, for the entire UK ©Met Office.: ........... Wednesday 19 May - Friday 28 May Unsettled conditions continuing, with scattered showers again developing across most areas. To start the period, these may be heavy, and at times wintry in the far north, especially over hills. Further into this period, it is likely to remain changeable with a mixture of sunshine and scattered showers, though heavy in places with a risk of thunder. Brief spells of more organised cloud, bringing rain and strong winds, remain possible, particularly in the south. Generally staying breezy throughout. While temperatures by night are likely to below average, frost is expected to be restricted to prone locations, especially where winds fall light. By day, temperatures are likely to be around or slightly below average, notably cool in the South but cold in the North.

Highest high in Finland yesterday: 26.1C Sotkamo. Lowest high: -2.9C Saana fell.
Sotkamo is barely in Northern Finland, but it still is, so the geographical distance isn't that big.
