Environment Canada currently says the condition in Saskatoon is "Mostly Cloudy", yet when I look out the windows all I see is clear blue skies. I wonder if there's really a lone cloudy mass over the airport or if Environment Canada is just being weird.

I've noticed the same exact thing numerous times with the observations here as well. Right now it says "Mostly Cloudy" at the airport and the sky is covered about 30% with clouds, so definitely not "mostly cloudy".

Hmm, I wonder if we'll end up with a completely dry March. So far we've had zero precipitation this month and the forecast is showing nearly pure sunshine everyday, with nothing more than a sun/cloud mix on Monday/Tuesday at the moment. I guess it'll all come down to the last week of the month.

Has to be a combination of warm-air advection from the subtropical Atlantic + a foehn effect: i.imgur.com/hz6qsSi.png

Well. Scotland takes the lead for the highest UK temperature so far. Not actually too unusual though. Their summer will suck a fat one, so who cares.

We hit the double digits for the first time since November 4th! Currently sitting at 11C at 3:00pm with potentially a couple more hours of warming left in the day. Our forecast high for today was only 6C so this is a pleasant surprise.

We broke a daily record today! We reached 16.5C at 4:00pm while the previous record was 15.6C set in 1910. It's possible we went even higher between hourly readings, we'll find out tomorrow. Today has an average high of 0.0C and average low of -10.1C.
We may also end up breaking our dry streak tonight. We've had zero precipitation this month but have quite a large and stormy looking cloud mass moving toward us. I doubt we'll get our first thunderstorm of the year but we may very well get our first proper rain.
