Great Lakes range from 83F(28C) near Sandusky and Point Pelee to 48F (9C) along Isle Royale. Milwaukee is the small red arrow in the bottom left. The gauge on the site near Milwaukee said 22C.

I have gone to Jūrmala ( Riga-Strand) today and the sea water there is quite cool, only 18C.

Yeah, the sea temperatures have dropped quite dramatically. 18C in Turku as well. Lakes in eastern Finland are a bit warmer, around 20C.

They're heating up! 78F (26C) in Bergen Point, NY on the LI Sound and 75 at Montauk on the Atlantic.

Even after Henri passed thru, SSTs are still running warm in the area. These warm SSTs spell tropical trouble into Sep/Oct.
80F (27C) at Bergen Point, NY
79F (26C) at Cape May, NJ 77F (25C) at Atlantic City, NJ

I found an average water temp graph for Lake Michigan. The whole lake, not for a certain beach. It ranges from partly frozen to 22C in an average year. Currently above the average.
