In North Wildwood. I heard the ocean was 78f. And I was just in it and it sure feels nice. The air is still too chilly though. My phone says 70F. The thermometer in my dad’s truck was reading as low as 58f not far from my parents’ house this morning

SST today (September 11) is 86 F/30 C. Air temp is 84 F (28.9 C) as of 9 am.

SST anomalies are quite warm in the North Atlantic. On the other hand, the northeast Pacific has some large areas of cool anomalies.

The two places closest to me are also the warmest. Narva beach is the warmest with 21.4c followed by Pärnu what has 20.4c. The sea water is cold on the northwest coast and on the southern tip of the largest island. Map with data at 11 this morning
