Dark polar clouds with highs in the low 60's. Today's low was 48 F. The claimed high is 70 F, but we are just barely above 60 F right now. Crummery.

Dark polar clouds with highs in the low 60's. Today's low was 48 F. The claimed high is 70 F, but we are just barely above 60 F right now. Crummery. Weather has changed for the better. Clouds decreased, sun came out, and temps have hit mid 70's, making it feel summerlike. Rapid change in conditions.

Holy SHIT, The Weather Network's 14 day forecast is currently showing 11 consecutive days with highs above 30C for Saskatoon, including 3 days in a row above 35C! I doubt it's actually gonna happen but that's still a forecast I've NEVER seen here before!
Environment Canada only gives a 7 day forecast but the last few days of it seem to align pretty well with TWN, so we'll see happens!

Yesterday I had pay quite a lot of attention to avoid a large thunderstorm when returning back home, but from what I read today in the news it was more serious than I initially thought in the opposite end of the city

33.2C was recorded in Parikkala on the eastern border today, while Utsjoki Kevo in Lapland managed a measly 11.2C high. Turku had a high of 26.8C with a thunderstorm in the afternoon.

Highs in Latvia: -map snipped- High of 28.9 C with storms in the second half - basically perfect weather IMO for any time of year! Forecast was 80 F (27 C) here but the clouds stuck around longer than expected so we're topping out at 77 F (25 C) right now. Disappointing

Looks like Western Canada as a whole is in for a major heatwave. Calgary is on track to potentially break their all-time record next week. EC now has 4 highs above 30C in our forecast, which follows the 5 we've already had this month. Unreal!

Cool but comfortable. High/low of 76/58 and sunny, RH at 26%, and DP at 39 so nice and dry!

Another pleasant day with clear skies and temperatures in the low-to-mid 70s. Low this morning was 45 F/7 C. One more dry day before it gets hot and humid again. Meanwhile a wicked heatwave is brewing out west. Maybe a new all-time record in Portland this weekend with a forecast high of 108 F/42 C:

We had a cool night Monday night, with lows in the mid 50s across the region. The OKC airport got down to 54°F (12°C), which was not a record, but still the coldest temperature for the date since 1902. Yesterday's high was 83°F (28.5°C) with dewpoints around 50°F (10°C). It was great summer weather that I wish happened more frequently.

Watched an epic lightning show last night driving through central Nebraska. Lasted for over 100 miles with cloud to cloud flashes, ground strikes and cool forking lightning constantly lighting up the sky.

111°F is much more plausible for Portland
