High/low of 100/82 today under clear skies and a west-southwest wind. Just the 4th time its hit 100 here in June since 1940 (the whole LGA PoR)! The others were 1952, 2008, and 2017. Also set a daily record. Newark hit 103 to set the June monthly record!

June ended up 0.1 F (0.056 C) below normal, with 12.44" (316 mm) of precipitation, which is 1.94" (49 mm) above the normal of 10.50" (266 mm). So it was quite the seasonable month all things considered. The above average precip was aided by receiving 4.86" (123 mm) the last two days of the month, including 3.86" (100 mm) on Tuesday alone!
It dropped to 76 F (24.4 C) overnight here, currently 79 F (26.1 C) with a 72 F (22.2 C) dew point as of 7 am, headed up to 88 F (31.1 C) with a 70% chance of showers and storms today.

It's already 31C at 10:00am here. Forecast high for today is 35C but I'm thinking we might actually be able to exceed it.

Shitchester recorded its 3rd warmest June ever, behind only 1919 and 1949. Pretty good effort!
Cooler today though, only low 70s but 90s are supposed to come back by early next week.

Maxed out at 86 here today, was actually nice weather in the morning until the crummery thunderless rain moved in, and it amounted to .1" as well as dropped the temp to 73. Temps should rebound as we stay rain-free this afternoon and evening.

We've gotten 7.53" (191.3 mm) of rain here in Norman in the past week. That's about what we average for June and July combined. There's been some minor flooding, but honestly nothing too bad. Things had been kind of dry beforehand, which I think limited the severity of the flooding.

Got jack shit in terms of rainfall yesterday, received a whopping 0.06" (1.5 mm) but that's alright, we got a shitload of rain the previous two days, gives the saturated ground some time to recover.
Morning low of 77 F (25 C) today, which is the current temp, with a 75 F (23.9 C) dew point. Headed up to 90 F (32.2 C) with a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon, about as typical of a summer day that you're gonna get here.
This weekend looks seasonably hot, with 93 F predicted highs on both days.

Our forecast high for today is 39C! If it happens this will be our hottest temperature in a very long time. The last time we hit 39.0C or higher was on June 6th, 1988 at 40.1C, the day after the city's all-time heat record was set, and the last time we hit a rounded 39C was in August 2003 when we hit 38.6C.

Loads of snails crawling around lately. If you don't pay attention you'll kill several each day. I for sure am a serial snail killer these days. Good thing is that it doesn't go to waste as snails are pretty much my staple food being French.

Had a very nice thunderstorm at about midnight this morning with lots of thunder and lightning and some heavy rain.
Now another solid thunderstorm is moving through, lighter rain this time.
I hadnโt heard any thunder since mid May so these two storms have been very appreciated.

High was only 69 (21 c) today with overcast skies and a morning thunderstorm. Actually felt kind of refreshing.
Coolest July or August high since 2017.
Back home the weather has been too boring to report on.

Pretty long streak of no 20C highs... What really? That heat didnโt make it up north? At first I got confused as well but the tweet is from June 8th. They reached a max of 30.3C on the 28th.
