Tell me your nearest weather station experiences sea breeze, without actually telling me your nearest weather station experiences sea breeze, I'll go first.
Already 23.8'C at 08.00 at the aiport, and then only 22.8'C at 09.00, despite a blue dome sky. Uni station continued rising until about 9.20 until it started levelling off.
After our warmest day so far 26.8'C high at the airport, we also had our warmest clear-sky night with a 11.2'C low at the airport and a 14.9'C low at a simpler pws I've got outside my apartment.

Got down to 60 at LGA and 59 at Central Park. Sounds unimpressive but that's actually the coldest July temp at those stations in over 10 years.
But the really anomalous thing today will be our max temp. We are going to be pretty close to 45-year July lows with a max of just 64 predicted!

A chilly day here as well. At 9 AM it's only 61 F/16 C and overcast, forecast high of only 65 F/18 C. Not great for July 4th activities but very refreshing.

This June was one of the warmest June in this non-uhi area in the history of measurements, the fourth place in terms of warmth after 1876, 1936 and 1999 and as well dry and sunny. Daily mean 3.4 c above average, precipitation 43.7 mm (36 mm of it was recorded within an hour and a half) (average 83), 348 hours of sunshine (average 261 hrs). I will make climate boxes soon if I have more time.

Edit: Nvm, it was Åsele, at 300m ASL and 64.1'N, at 14.00

For some reason Environment Canada is now listing yesterday's high as 40.0C even though it was very clearly 40.5C at the time

Max of 64°F is cold anywhere in the Northeast, besides obviously mountain tops.

First thunderstorm in over a month this evening - nothing spectacular, and certainly nowhere as intense as the one we had back in May, but a pleasant surprise anyway. 21mm of rain too.
Very bright pink lightning, whereas the lightning in May was more white-blue in colour.
Another thunderstorm warning for tomorrow so hopefully more to come. I love these humid, thundery setups.

knot and tommyFL were arguing on the shoutbox that cold maxes don't reflect a cold airmass; just thick clouds. Checking the current upper air temperatures, clear it's a chilly air mass for summer even if not record cold aloft. Our max today was in the low 60s. 850 mb temperatures are 5-6°C 700 mb temperatures are around freezing. it's an upper level low; typical cause of extended cold and cloudy weather now a cold morning from a week and a half ago. mid 40s here, low 40s further north 850 mb temperatures were about the same as the current cold. min this time was only in the mid 50s but same 850 hPa temperatures as when we had a colder morning. 850 mb and surface at sunrise about the same. higher up not as cold as the current air mass. right now, we have a milder low but overall a colder airmass

Hot as balls today, recorded a 94 F (34.4 C) with a 79 F (26.1 C) dew point, heat index of 112 F (44.4 C)! w1.weather.gov/data/obhistory/KMIA.htmlHighs were in the mid 90s practically everywhere today, feels noticeably different from upper 80s and low 90s, heat definitely had an extra "oomph" today. Unfortunately no rain though.

Nice rain band hitting the Western Australian coastline. We'll settle in to a wet pattern for the next week with fronts forecast today, tuesday night, friday, next sunday and next monday (GFS 10 day forecast take that as you will). Even if that forecast is not accurate, the general trend is wet, windy and cloudy weather.

Managed to get up to 70 F/21 C today. The unforecasted sun probably helped but still well below average for July 3rd.
Low of 56 F/13 C tonight and a high of 75 F/24 C for tomorrow.

Had a very warm night last night, didn't drop below 80 F (26.7 C). Also, 80 F dew points recorded overnight w1.weather.gov/data/obhistory/KMIA.htmlWill be hot and humid again today, well that's every day in the summer, but more than usual. Predicted high is 92 F (33.3 C) but we're forecast 105 F (40.6 C) heat indices today, it'll get hotter than that if it doesn't rain.

My PWS managed to reach a 18.2'C DP this morning. It's placed inside a small group of trees though so dew points will often be a little higher, especially after rainfall and in sunny mornings when last night's dew starts evaporating.
