Steamy day here with a high of 87 F/31 C and dewpoint hovering around 73 F/23 C all afternoon. Had heavy downpours from a thunderstorm but not seeing a precip total in the observations.
Flash Flood Watch in effect for Wednesday with 3-5 inches of rain possible.

Nothing to write home about here. Just 80-92 f highs and 50-54 f lows. Nothing notably above/below average, no storms, no variability, nothing to root for. Looking forward to the first cold snap of Septemberโฆ

28.9C today with Hurricane Mcghee in full afterburner. Now that's what I call a winter day 31C tomorrow and 34C on Thurs, before the polar assault arrives with 16C highs for the foreseeable future after.

Now that's what I call a winter day 31C tomorrow and 34C on Thurs, before the polar assault arrives with 16C highs for the foreseeable future after. All those temps sound like mid summer to me, other than 16 C (which is more typical in May & October).

On the last day of summer, it has stayed dry in Riga despite the forecast, fortunately the rainband has stayed in eastern Latvia. Low 14.3C and high 17.5C in the city. In the neighborhood:

Some breaking news views of tornado damage in South Jersey this evening, which completely destroyed some homes. Not really close to my current location, but quite close to where I used to live:

Adelaide had a 21C low, and a suburb called Nourlunga had over 22C. Unfortunately, the 9am reset will gay it up. Onya BOM BUMMERS. Meanwhile, the low here was 12C

Last night had a 64 f (18 c) low. Thatโs only 1 f off the September record max low. Only T-5th highest September low though.
High was 83 (28 c). Interestingly the warmer lows have occurred on the cooler days the past month. Wonder if thatโs normal or not.

Lindos recorded a monthly mean of 91ยฐF this August apparently Absolutely insane. Look at those lows in the beginning of the month! 8 lows above 30'C and 3 lows above 34'C!! Idk what the average low turned out to be but it looks like it came out around 28-29'C. Insane.

Lindos recorded a monthly mean of 91ยฐF this August apparently I made the mistake of opening the tweet, and opening the observations and looking at the low temps column. Don't want to live anymore. My evening is ruined. Cheers.

Looks like August 2021 was the 2nd most humid month in Montreal's history, with a mean hourly dew point of 17.17C.
