Chicago, not even a contest. I guess you like cold climates too, huh?

Chicago, not even a contest. I guess you like cold climates too, huh? Indeed, I like cold continental climates. I'd call Chicago a balanced climate rather than a cold climate, however. I know most disagree with me.

I agree with you. Chicago is a 4 season climate with pretty equal seasons, albeit with slightly longer summers. Colder climates would be like Montreal, which has 5 months of winter instead of 3.

Chicago since NYC's winters are very lackluster.
The others are just shit.

It’s a tie between LA and NYC. If I could average the two, I’d have something resembling my dream climate.

LAX would be perfect if it had double the rain.

LAX would be perfect if it had double the rain. Triple the rain and precipitation days.

No contest. Humid subtropical climate always wins over shitty cold or shitty dry.

NYC. Would be an amazing climate if it had larger diurnal ranges year round. Never realised how sunny it is in winter.

Chicago, but the NYC area as a whole would be a close second. The only thing bad about NYC are that the lows are too warm making summer nights too hot and reducing snowfall significantly, and that gets fixed by moving into Putnam or Sussex county an hour away. I like the summer highs in NYC more.
