Do you get any spiders in your jungle?
For example, a massive golden orb weaver in your face if you walk out there at night?

From our local guru on Pilco's Chat On Weather FB Group "Good evening troops.. So after a glorious cool, overcast and rainy day over much of the Top End, with parts of Humpty Doo missing out apparently, no doubt you are probably wondering whatβs happened to the rain π€ Most monsoons have this tendency to ebb and flow and much of the activity tends to be of the nocturnal and early morning stuff. This system is no different, with the rain taking a break for a few hours before showers begin to invade from the SW again. Looking at tonightβs charts I can see tomorrow mornings fun and games racing north from the Wyndham district in WA. That area of rain and storms should aid in an area of convergence about the north west Top End tomorrow morning, very much like today I would expect, so thatβs what I will be keeping an eye on. The monsoon trough is now roughly running west to east across the base of the Top End and a weak low sits in the southern JBG ( Joseph Bonaparte Gulf). If the low can stay there and direct traffic then our weather will continue as is and may even get a little wilder. So beautiful cool and rainy weather to continue folks and a great chance to watch your leather boots go mouldy right before your eyes. Have a great night"

The last 24 hours have been dry in Darwin, with the action based in the Joseph Bonepart Gulf to our south west.
