Lots of rain here today. 2.10" (53.3 mm) including 2.05" (52.0 mm) in only an hour w1.weather.gov/data/obhistory/KMIA.htmlStill raining steadily at the moment so those totals will go up a bit. Finally, we get hit with something good..... nice long cold front stretching from the Canadian border to Florida; it's not summer anymore Florida and New England are the only places east of the front; everywhere west is below 70°F or much colder at 11pm including Georgia and the Florida pandhandle Those stationary fronts that get stuck in Central FL bring a ton of moisture here. That's why our daily record rainfall isn't in the middle of summer, rather late fall/early winter (November 30, 1925). Going to be quite rainy the next few days if the forecast holds up. We're even getting a tiny bit cooler from it too, some 88/74 weather coming up, which doesn't sound cool to you guys, but it's a bit nicer than constant 92/78. Dropped into the low-mid 50s in the Panhandle this morning: 51 F (10.6 C) in Crestview: w1.weather.gov/data/obhistory/KCEW.html53 F (11.7 C) in Marianna: w1.weather.gov/data/obhistory/KMAI.html55 F (12.8 C) in Tallahassee: w1.weather.gov/data/obhistory/KTLH.html

Much warmer today with SSW winds. Back to normal; temps in the low to mid 70's, after a November like 54 F high yesterday. The low tonight be equal to my high yesterday.

Milder. Min 8C at the airport this morning, stable 13C with some sunshine in the afternoon.
September 2021 is fighting for the title of the coldest September of 21 century in Latvia.

We're now in a moderate drought, along with much of the rest of the state.

The very low humidity is back. We've been having sub-freezing dew points with decently warm temperatures the last couple of days. Here's to dry skin for the next 8 months...

High/low of 76/60 and clearing skies. Cold front came thru, dropping over 1" of rain in some quality thunderstorms, then dewpoints dropped drastically (low DP of 43 today). More of the same beautiful weather tomorrow.

Yep, my skin has been peeling. Very rare to have that in Vancouver but it's ok. The climate here is infinitely superior and I prefer the relative aridity anyway.

Really feeling the shorter days now. Today's our first day with less than 12 hours of daylight. Sun angle's getting pretty low too, it's a few minutes past solar noon right now and the shadows are fairly long.
