85/42 (29/6 c) today, another warm, high diurnal day.
The last 4 days havenโt been updated in Nowdata unfortunately, so hard to track what the month is averaging now. A cool spell is now in the forecast to end the month so itโll be a very close call whether this month beats out 2015 for the warmest on record or not.

High pressure again. Old woman's summer numero dos is coming. It has gone down to 8C at Riga airport last night, high should be 16C. Yurop

Sorry for the bullshit "feels like temps" - but this is to demonstrate the cataclysmic rainfall coming in the last few days of September. What might have been a notably dry month could become wetter than average in the last few days. Wouldn't be the first time that has happened in recent times.

14.5C now. For once it's not below average. Rare sight this September.

One day this September so far has been average. One. The 10th. Four days have been above average; 8th, 9th, 11th and 12th. All the others have had a daily mean below average.
Note, these are 2000-2020 averages.
Catastrophic month.
---
Moscow has had it even worse than Turku and Riga. Their average high will most likely be below 13C, which is over 2C cooler than the average low they had in August. On the 20th they had a high of 6.8C!

We've got a forecast high of 29C tomorrow and 28C the day after that. Didn't think we were gonna see these kinds of temperatures again this season the last two or three times they happened, but here we are. After that it cools down to the high teens/low 20s, mild but still above average for this time of the year. September is turning out to be a pretty great month on top of our already great summer (minus the excessive dryness, which is still persistent).

High was 88 (31 c) today, very warm for late September. Tomorrow will be similar before a more fall like pattern sets in with highs in the 60s and 70s to finish the 10-day.

High/low of 74/64 with sunny skies and a WNW breeze. Chance at 80s tomorrow, could be last here until March/April.

Interesting squall feature approaching this morning - probably explains why it's getting windy outside. Haven't seen a rainfall radar like this for a while. And behind it, autumn arrives:

Dry, sunny, slow wind from the East. Yesterday's high has been 15C, today's low is 3C at the airport. Similar high of 15C today and in the next days thanks to the high-pressure system Lioba. Golden autumn is coming.

Yay, another day which wasn't below average! 15.7C high, which was also the warmest high since the 12th. As a bonus it was sunny all day. Can't believe I'm celebrating this, which just shows how poor this Septictember has been.

We had more rain in 30 minutes this morning (10mm) than we had in the entire month of September before today. Feels like it's been months since we had torrential rain like that.

High/low of 82/65 under a downsloping dry WSW flow, with dew points getting down to 45 for a minimum RH of 28%. Could be the last 80s of the year as cooler weather sets in to close the month, and highs will struggle to hit 70.

High was 88 (31 c) again today. Slight underperformance so the last 90 will be back on the 16th.
Impressive warmth farther east, Scottsbluff got to 95 (35 c).

We hit 28.4C for our warmest hourly reading today and have another 28C in the forecast for tomorrow. Last couple days of the month are dropping into the low 20s but it seems to be staying there for the first little bit of October so that's awesome.
The dryness is also sticking around it seems. We're at only 5.6mm of precipitation for the month (with none in the forecast) and 153.9mm for the year. Looks like we probably won't beat 2001 as the driest year on record, as we only had 159.7mm that year. Even with our current levels of dryness it's unlikely we'll get less than 6mm in the remaining three months, but we could probably end up in second place (not sure what the threshold for that is).
