This is hysterical, this is absolutely hysterical. Port Augusta had 22/38C forecast for today, but, the low was 14C, and as of 10.00am, it is 18C and raining after a 26C high at 8.48am. Some places had a 10C temp drop since 9.00am, e.g. Snowtown, 24C to 15C. Going in the complete opposite direction than the hot forecast trollolololololololololololololol Adelaide had a 21C low, so their forecast didn't fail. Full 10C warmer than the low here in Rectum. Supposed to be 34C today here, but the overcast is moving in so I am sure it will be another epic BOM FAIL here. Who knows, it;s 26C atm so might atleast get close. Yep, thats a fail mark.....the timing and speed of the cooler change had 'em fooled. I'd say the Renmark forecast is a 'pass' with 32.1c reached ?

Yep, thats a fail mark.....the timing and speed of the cooler change had 'em fooled. I'd say the Renmark forecast is a 'pass' with 32.1c reached ? I'll call it a pass, I'm surprised it even got to 32C, it's fully overcast all day. If anything, Renmark did best aside from the northern deserts. While Adelaide got their 21.8C low against a 20C forecast, their high is a fail, 30C forecast, got to 26C and now @ 1.30pm it is 20C lmao Port Augusta still on 21C lmfao, and high so far 12C below the forecast, while their low was 8C below the forecast. Meanwhile, nearby Port Pirie had a 24C low I'll have to document that. Must've been more cloud than forecast, but really, with all the supercomputing power, the BOM fails this hard? Port Augusta is looking at the GRAND FAIL OF THE CENTURY. Looking at the latest maps, it looks like the low gayed up further north than expected, bringing premature ejaculation cloud and rain to areas which were not supposed to get it.

Well, Port AUgusta got to 35.3C, as the rain and cloud cleared in the afternoon, so the high temp didn't fail by much. The low was still an imbecilic 8C colder than forecast though.

A weak tornado hit rural Norman last night.
I made an approximate map of the tornado path on Google Earth.
I was a couple miles outside the warning polygon but still heard the tornado sirens. I was outside watching the storm as the sirens went off, and felt like I was turning into a stereotypical Midwesterner.

Got to 34.7C thus far @ 2.40pm, and to think the forecast was 29C a couple of days ago. Big storms developing to the NW and heading this way. Getting high right now in preperation. Today has overperformed, and is fast looking like the jewel in the crown of this Cocktober. NW Vic lighting up

Massive storms heading towards Melbourne, hopefully Daniel Andrews gets hit by lightning and the water content of his body expands and superheats explosively, erupting him into a pile of gore like some over the top South Park death scene.

NW Vic covered in lightning, same system which got me, but then it went on roids. Ouyen at the front row, which has gained recent fame thanks to Greysrigging. That massive carpet of lightning over Melbourne, goddamn, the radar lied. The Melbourne radar lied. That incoming system did not die, just the radar chose to be a liar. Anvil covers half of Victoria

Sydney scorcher: Friday will be city's hottest day since Australia Day ( Source: Weatherzone ) Sydney is in for its first really hot day of spring on Friday, and indeed its hottest day since the maximum of 37.1 ยฐC on Australia Day way back on January 26, with maximum temperatures expected to reach 35ยฐC or thereabouts right across the city on Friday. It's all thanks to northwesterly winds dragging a warm airmass down towards the east coast ahead of a trough associated with a complex low pressure system which has been crossing eastern SA and Victoria on Thursday. There's the chance of showers and thunderstorms developing in Sydney in the afternoon, with the storms possibly being severe, but the heat should arrive quite early and stick around for most of the day. It definitely looks like a day to find a tree to have lunch underneath, with temps possibly reaching 35ยฐC as early as 1 pm. Unlike summer days when there's often a temperature discrepancy of more than 10 degrees between Sydney's west and coastal suburbs, tomorrow should be uniformly hot across the city due to a lack of sea breeze. For example, the city's "official" weather gauge at Observatory Hill in the CBD is expected to reach 35ยฐC on Friday, while Penrith in the outer west is tipped to exceed that by just one degree, with a top of 36ยฐC. Even normally breezy Bondi is expected to reach 35ยฐC. And in case you're interested, here's the hottest day of each month in Sydney in 2021 to date (note that last summer's highest temps weren't too extreme โ likely due to the La Nina effect, when wetter summers generally take the edge of extreme temperatures): Sydney's hottest days by month, 2021 (as of 28 Oct) โข 31.0ยฐC on Oct 7 โข 30.1ยฐC on Sep 12 โข 25.6ยฐC on August 1 โข 25.4ยฐC on July 28 โข 22.0ยฐC on June 2 โข 26.2ยฐC on May 8 โข 28.8ยฐC on April 9 โข 31.2ยฐC on March 8 โข 33.2ยฐC on Feb 12 โข 37.1ยฐC on Jan 26 Manly Beach
