Darwin Airport Summary November 2021. Basically hot and dryish....well above average max temps, the 34.7c mean max temp is in the 95th % since 1941 ( 1.4c above the long term average ), and just behind the record monthly mean of 35c set only last year ( 2020 ). And 13 days exceeding 35c and of those 5 days exceeded 36c. Pretty ordinary actually ! The mean minimum temp came in at 25.7c, which is 0.4c above the long term average. Rainfall of 125.4mm is below the long term mean of 142.0mm. Despite forecasts to the contrary, it has been a disappointing 'build up' season so far re storms and rain and we are running well above average for heat and well below average for rainfall. August and September set new mean monthly max temp records, and both October and November were well above average. We've had 172.8mm since 1st Sept, the long term average is 228.6mm. Bring On The Wet !

The ONE single highlight about this RECORD GAY POVEMBER is a severe storm on the 6th that blew over trees and caused significant damage. Otherwise, this was a fatally below average, wet, cloudy piece of herpes infected ass cancer. The 11th was the coldest Povember day at the current site, and only narrowly missed the record overall
Look at all that fuckan blue in the nomolollies column, I'd be interested to know how many Curics this month weighs, because it is probably a lot.
There once was a Povember which snuck up on me while stroking my member it brought the record cold causing my mental sanity to fold I printed off the summary wiped my ass with it in a hurry whence it shall stay in the pooey s-trap of my porcelain forever
Good riddance ya heap of buffalo shit

That's basically winter, and something I haven't experienced in November. It was the 6th coldest avg November high on record, so apparently it's been worse than this. But this was pretty fucking bad. On a side note, I'll be doing both Essendon and Melb Ap summaries until the end of this year, then I'll permanently switch to Essendon after that.

Generally a mild month, becoming more wintry towards the end. The most notable event was Storm Arwen, which brought cold gusts of over 100km/h, some distant lightning, snow, and caused general widespread destruction - heavy metal weather.

November has been colder than normal, but still seasonable. No temperature records were touched or close to being broken. The last couple days of November had some decent accumulation. Well above normal in terms of snowfall:

November here was a little below average (skewed by the fact I use the averages from Thorney Island). The first 2/3 of the month was mild & mostly dry, with the last 10 days having cooler temperatures, a storm, the bulk of the months rainfall & the first snow of the season. Rainfall was well below average & sunshine was a little above. Despite a few cold days at the end, November was warmer than average and also significantly wetter, with about 140% of the monthly average. The information here is tentative, maybe it may some need clarification later, and if I have more time, I will create that box too.

1.1F cooler than average and well below normal precip (3.43" drier than normal). Nothing really too interesting. Had temperature variation, but couldn't manage to get a freeze despite being a bit cooler than normal. We normally get down to freezing in November. Not really any noteworthy storm systems. No thunder recorded the entire month. Lowest max: 55F Highest min: 57F Days with thunder: 0 Highest dewpoint: 65F Lowest dewpoint: 24F Average dewpoint: 24F

Toronto Pearson Airport: Temperature was 0.8C above seasonal with the colder second half making up for the warmer first half. Relatively dry with most of the precip in the second half. 51% of average precipitation but 200% of average snowfall mainly due to one low pressure system on the 28th.

Cooler than normal (-1.3 °F/-0.7 °C) and slightly wetter than normal (115% of normal precipitation). First cooler than normal month since December 2020, but the anomaly was almost entirely in the max temp. Unsurprisingly, it was also much cloudier than normal as it was the cloudiest non-summer month this year by far. Much like ral31 (and much of the Southeast in general), we did not even get close to our mean minimum despite being cooler than normal. Sunshine hours approximated using Angstrom formula, interpolated from four solar radiation measuring sites throughout Martin County. 1991-2020 normals for nearby COOP station for reference: True daily mean (average of 5-minute observations): 68.2 °F (20.1 °C) Maximum precipitation rate (10-min mean): 1.56"/hr (39.6 mm/hr) Maximum precipitation rate (1-min mean): 4.80"/hr (121.9 mm/hr) Maximum relative humidity: 99% Minimum relative humidity: 37% Maximum dew point: 75.9 °F (24.4 °C) Minimum dew point: 38.5 °F (3.6 °C) Maximum heat index: 95 °F (35 °C) or 86.5 °F (30.3 °C) with a 74 °F (23 °C) dew point Median time of daily max temp: 1:10 PM (EDT times early this month converted to EST) Median time of daily min temp: 6:47 AM Mean daily variability (average difference in mean temp between consecutive days): 3.2 °F (1.8 °C)
