An incredible 5 days this month have had 70+ (21 C +) dews! Before this year, there was only 1 October day with a 70+ dew ever.
The October record high dew of 71 (22 C) has been tied 3 times this month! Sadly it hasnβt been broken.
When I get home and have more time Iβll make a list of all the days with 70, 75 and 80 f dews this year.

Extremely humid here today, highest dew points I have seen so far this summer that's disgusting. how well did your visiting relatives cope? They are still here & not coping very well, I had to go & buy a small 'swamp cooler' for the spare room. I know these work better in dry heat, but it does still blow out cooler air than a fan & it has ice packs to put in it too. They have said they won't be visiting this time of the year again lol.

I'm really enjoying our moderately high humidity at the moment. In recent days our dew points have been peaking around 15C - 18C during the day and that's just about perfect for me, humid enough to feel the moisture without making everything all gross and sweaty. It's so dry most of the year that this is a really nice contrast to that.

We've had higher than normal humidity lately, with dew points regularly pushing into the teens (including a 14C dew point yesterday). Not very humid but usually in mid/late August it's still much drier than this, so this is an interesting month for sure. We also haven't had much rain this month, so that's not the cause of it.

Currently a dew of 74, been over a week no where with dews consistently 72-76 , mostly around 74 . Loving the sultry ness combined with high temps of 89-91.

Dew point of 13.2C at the moment in Saskatoon, much higher than we normally get in late August. Nice to have a last burst of moisture before the dryness settles in for the next three seasons.

Dew point of 11.4C this afternoon! Our highest of the year so far, it's damn nice to have some moisture in the air again after how dry this spring has been!

Fortunately for me because I have southerly winds it isn't quite as humid where I am today.
