It's quite pleasant to be honest. Definitely changes the vibe of things. Makes sense especially considering how many spots in coastal Atlantic Canada are often cool and rainy during the summer. Specifically thinking of St John's on that point. Newfoundland has seen fairly high dew points this month as well.

It's still 93°F (34°C) at 1 am. I've never seen anything like this. I'm sitting outside on my balcony, and feels like I'm sitting in the shade on a normal summer afternoon.
Also our intramural sand volleyball team still had a game even tho it was 108°F (42°C) at the time. That wasn't fun. We at least had a lot of people to sub and rotate.

Aftermath of a grass fire in south London yesterday. An entire row of houses destroyed. London fire service has their busiest day since WWII. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-62232654

NWS going with a string of days in the mid-upper 90sF here, which should continue thru at least Sunday. Some inland spots will touch 100sF, as shown by model guidance.

Some dying cells roaming around. I've been woken up by thunder as well this morning. All in all, weak activity as expected. Some WS in the eastern outskirts above 30 mm tho - Lucky buggers in this endless sea of dessicating conditions.

Surprisingly no talk about the heat in Germany today. 40°C in fucking Hamburg is quite a feast! Btw... Paris surrounded by areas with higher rainfall totals. Absolutely dramatic given the state of the vegetation.

Got to 92 (33 c) today, first 90 of the month here but below the forecast high. Had a couple very brief showers in the evening, but they missed the airport and had no effect on temps.

Apparently Karup in Denmark managed to hit a whopping 36.7'C yesterday! The previous national record was only 35.1'C. Today was forecast to have a chance at beating the 38'C all-time record in Sweden. However, at 12:00 the warmest station was only 34.2'C so I have strong doubts that we'll be able to gain an additional 3.8'C.
Nvm, apparently the old record was 36.4'C. Don't know if the 36.7'C has been confirmed or not because I just read a DMI article about how the record didn't get broken.
Edit: Damn ok, between 12:00 and 13:00 Målilla had gone from 34.2'C to 36.2'C. There might actually be a chance for us to get very close to the record.
