Ok total is in now for Fort Collins, turns out 1.97” (49 mm) fell at the coop station yesterday, not sure how they differed by 0.25” when they’re in the same spot, possibly the 5 minute observations are a little off for the AgMesonet station.
Anyway, not a 2” day and doesn’t put the month over 4”, although the month is still the 9th wettest currently.
What is of interest is Fort Collins had a 70 (21 c) low on the 19th which is the T-3rd warmest low ever and just the 6th 70 f low on record.

Fucking light showers here suddenly explodes into a line of strong storms the second it gets east of here, and earlier this morning, a line of strong storms approaching from the west weakened into some fuckwit, insipid light showers when they arrived here. What the fuck kinda bullshit is this man, this is like the 12th time this horseshit happens this summer.

Nah aside from the lack of storms, collective IQ of the population is -90,000,000,000.

Amazing thunderstorm here right now. Temp dropped from 96F to 70F with torrential rain, gusts to 50mph, and non-stop lightning.

alex992 Jeez I didn't know you lived in Appleton. That kind of radar image is extremely familiar.

alex992 Jeez I didn't know you lived in Appleton. That kind of radar image is extremely familiar. I live in Fapplemark (cross between Fappleton and Skidmark). the echos in the top right circle actually do look like a cock n balls Also the strongest cluster of storms on that radar, and farthest one from me. Coincidence? I think not.

I don't normally post in the middle of the night, but holy fuck the biggest most insane thunderstorm just rolled through and woke me up, and I sleep with earplugs! I'm on the top floor of my apartment building and the rain coming down on the roof was so loud it sounded like a damn train rolling through! Insane cloud-to-cloud strobe lightning like I haven't seen in a long time! There are multiple buildings in my complex with a parking lot in the centre between them, and the middle of the parking lot is basically flooded now - one car at the lowest point actually has its front end nearly underwater. I think we may have actually topped that day in late June where we received dozens of mm of rain and had flooding all around town. There was a bit of hail for a few seconds and I was worried my car was gonna get wrecked but thankfully that didn't happen. Now the storm is moving on, but yeah, that was something!

July 2022 might have been the least thundery on record. This is the map of lightning strikes, or lack thereof.

More Damaging Winds And Flooding Rain On The Way ( source: Weatherzone ) Flooding rain, thunderstorms and dangerous winds will spread over southern and southeastern Australia during the next two days, with warnings in place for several states. A series of cold fronts and low pressure troughs are sweeping across southern and southeastern Australia this week as a large and complex low pressure system passes to the south of the country. Wednesday: One of this week’s cold fronts will cause a surge of strong winds and showers in TAS, VIC, NSW and the ACT on Wednesday. Damaging winds are possible along the ranges in northeast VIC and southern NSW on Wednesday with the passage of this front, with severe weather warnings in place. Showers and storms will also affect parts of northern TAS from Wednesday with a severe thunderstorm warning and flood watch in place as of 11am AEST on Wednesday. Another front will sweep over the southern half of WA on Wednesday, causing more damaging winds and squally showers. This powerful system will produce severe weather in areas of the state that have already been hit by damaging to destructive winds earlier this week. As of 9am AWST, a severe weather warning was in place across the state’s southern and southwestern districts, including the Central Wheatbelt and parts of the Goldfields districts. Thursday: On Thursday, the cold front over WA will move further east and cause more dangerous winds, heavy rain and potentially severe thunderstorms to develop over southern and southeastern Australia. A large area of SA and some elevated areas in VIC and NSW are likely to experience damaging winds on Thursday, with gusts likely to exceed 90km/h. In addition to causing these dangerous winds, the eastward-moving front and trough will also interact with a stream of moisture from the tropical Indian Ocean to produce a thick northwest cloudband. This cloudband will cause widespread rain and thunderstorms over NSW, the ACT and VIC on Thursday, with showers and storms also likely to affect parts of TAS and southern SA near the low pressure system. Rainfall totals of 10 to 30 mm are likely over a broad area of southeastern Australia on Thursday. The heaviest rain will be in central and southern inland NSW and the ACT, where 24-hour totals could exceed 150 mm on and west of the ranges, with six-hourly rainfall rates possibly reaching 50 to 60 mm.
