Marquette, MI (unofficial capital of da UP) saw their first freeze this morning:  Low was 42 F (6 C) here in comparatively subtropique Madison, WI. Still cold, though - and yesterday was my first sub-50 low of the season. Might be some lows in the 30s next week even down here. |

Cool morning here. Coolest of the season, low was 39.4F - even saw a tiny frost patch on my roof this morning.

Looks like we managed to top off at 61 F/16 C today making it the coolest day since May. The low this morning was 48 F/9 C but it looks like it may drop below that before midnight. Forecast low of 41 F/5 C tonight. Nice rebound tomorrow with a high of 68 F/20 C.

Inessive grammatical case, explaining being in something. Karibia = the Caribbean. Karibialla = in the Caribbean. Or Mökki = cottage. Mökillä = at the cottage.
edit: Kanadaan is Illative case, "in to something". Like Talo = house. Taloon = into the house.
Finnish has 15 different cases, 12 of who are used in everyday speech.  |

Survived Fiona but yeah, definitely worse than Dorian. Was the strongest around 4am and so Ì do not have any videos to share. It was pitch black.
Out of power since 1am.

Had our first 30s of the season with a low of 36 F/2 C. Right around the average minimum for September. Quite the diurnal range as the high reached 69 F/21 C.
Milder tonight with a forecast low of 50 F/10 C.

Was quite hot here this week. Got up to 99F Thursday - tied a daily record (latest it's ever been 100F was Sept 28, 1953). Today's high was 98F. Another hot day tomorrow before cold front comes. Should feel more comfortable next week with highs in the 80's and lows in the 50's. Front should keep T.S. Ian from coming this way.
Though September started off wet, getting dry here with little rain over the past two weeks. No rain in the forecast.
