Taipei is located in a basin, which might explain why it's so hot and cloudy

So these figures from the Central Weather Bureau, Taiwan   Very impressive given the rainfall totals June - August. Mind you rain falls on less than half the days of those months so yeah, a chance to heat up substantially. |
