Why is Taipei so hot with all its heavy rain? Because itโs close to the equator. But the rain do have an effect on the temperature, notice how the record high is below 40C.

I'm surprised you picked Hong Kong over Taipei.

Seoul is by far the best, despite the others offering more winter greenery and more chances of banana growth. Nice balance of seasons, except for maybe snow.

Seoul would be the only choice, of course.

I'm surprised you picked Hong Kong over Taipei. No sunshine, fake news, etc.

I pick Seoul because it's not bad outside of the two insanely rainy summer months.

Singapore. Very monotonous, but I can't pass up 168 thunder days per year. Also has year-round warmth without being over the top and an even mix of rain and sun.

An unforgiving lot, as pointless as choosing your own coffin. Lmao
Maybe Hong Kong for having mild winters and some sun.

Seoul. The others have weak to nonexistent winters. Singapore's the worst, no cool temps, ever.

Seoul because itโs not a furnace
Taipei and Hong Kong would be relatively familiar to me, though much cloudier and with even wetter summers and cooler winters. Singapore would drive me insane. Might be hard to understand for people from temperate/continental climates but the difference between here and Singapore is enormous. No seasons or chance of cool or even comfortable weather ever would be brutal.

Might be hard to understand for people from temperate/continental climates but the difference between here and Singapore is enormous. No seasons or chance of cool or even comfortable weather ever would be brutal. Trust me, I do. Met some expats there and they were like: well, it's not bad, there's AC everywhere. The idea of having an active, outdoor-oriented lifestyle is alien to most. Some do short runs weekly though. In Miami you can look forward to the cool season. In Singapore, you only look forward to the random storm that'll cool things down for a couple hours. Though, truth be said, it's not brutal either. At least there's that.

Seoul easily since it's much cooler than the others. I don't like the rainy season but the rest of the year is tolerable.

None. I keep coming back to this thread to try and decide. I still think they all are as fun as having my head washed down a bog-full of shit. So none.
