Green Cape, a mild comfortable climate. It also doesn’t seem to get hit as hard by ECLs compared to locales further north, such as Sydney.

Green Cape, a mild comfortable climate. It also doesn’t seem to get hit as hard by ECLs compared to locales further north, such as Sydney. Yep. It's oddly dry for its coastal location. This is because the mountains on its west shield it from cold fronts that come from the Southern Ocean, and ECLs generally occur more northwards with Sydney usually being in the centre (unfortunately for us). Only problem is that its summers are too mild (which makes sense).

Green Cape, it’s a Goldilocks climate. Not too dry, not too rainy, not too hot, not too cold.

Tibooburra Some of that Green Cape data looks suspect... I'd say its right, the site is an AWS and lighthouse jutting out to sea. The older lighthouse site was/is even cooler in summer.

NE corner is the best corner of NSW, but perhaps not the best overall area of NSW.

Coolangatta
It was close between that and Tibooburra, but I ended up picking the one with warmer winters and much more precipitation overall.
