Sacramento by the length of the California coast.

Sacremento easily. Slightly cooler winter nights are a small price to pay for massively improved summers. Still not loving the cool summer nights though.

SF
I've dealt with Sacramento-type heat enough to know I really don't like it.

Sacramento easily. Those summer sunshine totals are epic even if they are likely inflated.

Sacramento easily, for having perfect winter temps and perfect summers

My ideal summer temps are right between the two, but I prefer San Franโs summer.

Sacramento since it's more continental.

Sacramento easily. San Francisco doesn't have enough seasonal variation.

I pick Sacramento. Though itโs near my upper limit of how hot Iโm willing to tolerate, itโs better than feeling cold and windy during mid summer

Sacramento.
Its summers are hotter than I would prefer, but San Fran's summers are way too cool. Any climate that has an average high below 20ยฐC in all three summer months is a failure of a climate. I'm also not a fan of any place where October is the second-warmest month.

Sacramento for the chances of sub freezing temperatures and dry summers.
San Franshitsco is an epic failure.

Sacramento's summer nights are still polar, but at least it, you know, gets warm like it's supposed to during the day. San Francisco has a suicide climate.
