Hammy came within inches of signing a new three-year deal with McLaren for 2013, a deal that would've landed Alonso a Mercedes drive from 2015 and Hammy a Honda engine. F1 long ago ceased being about the driver. They can now make about 0.2-0.3 seconds difference, rather than 0.5-0.7 seconds during the 90's. Even an utter garbage driver like Bottas is able to be fast on many occasions. So what Tötö said is frankly unbelievable, it's basically a new sport ever since they forced all the durable material, banned refuelling and the aero flicks ten years ago anyway.

Øy 🖕🏿Mörön🖕🏿 , thoughts on my proposed future NASCAR schedule? Sure looks a lot more fun than the stale one of today, right? Finishing it off in style in Vegas ought to be something, right? Also, note the inclusion of Portland and Montréal on the schedule to get PNW and Canada into it all! Ideally, I'd add Denver too provided they wanted to revive their city race...
Anyway, a rotational schedule allows for more fun tracks like Nashville's short track, that high-banked Rockingham-miler in North Carolina, Iowa, Gateway and Milwaukee to join, thus actually including all the major paved US ovals!
Classics like Milwaukee on the week after Memorial Day and Portland around the solstice are also considered!

Road America would be great, except there's already an oval race in Wisconsin (not the largest state), the track is too long for stock cars with no fuel gagues, leading to chaos with cars stuck beside the race track in fuel-mileage races and endless green-white checkers with the pace lap taking five minutes...
I'd not be completely against it, but I think having an Xfinity race is more than enough for them given fewer people watch on the TV when those five minute pace car laps ensure Also, the spectator capacity there is not great when compared to Portland and Montréal, am I right? If they were to add a sixth road course race, a revived established street race like Houston or Denver would be better. |

He was getting passed by Vergne and basically drove like Vergne wasn't there. There was no room so Vergne crashed into a wall in a chicane but Massa crashed as well and another car crashed into him going up over the halo lol. |
