Crutchlow is a joke. He talks big but does barely better than Nakagami, whom he's talked down. Classic British hubris.
Hammy would've been the same had he stayed at McLaren and Alonso gone to Mercedes

Poor guy, let's all have a moment of silence for him. Especially since they could've just let him go, pay Max or Fernando half of what he gets and still win the title with ease, yet somehow are gracious enough to pay him $50 mil when it's all the car and not him. What a tough life he must have. Spare a thought

That would be nice. Then maybe it'd be a team I could root for.
It would be something to see the "Penske-Mercedes" name again after all the these years (as it was in IndyCar racing in the 90s). Wonder if Newgarden would be able to make the jump.

lol yeah that was completely Vettel's fault. Seemed like he got butthurt over LeClerc passing him fair and square in turn one.
And then Hamilton on Albon. No penalty it seems?

P7 I think.
That he and Vettel have 10 titles together boggles the mind, fucken. I genuinely can't believe it given their repeated shitshows in comparison to a legendary driver like Alonso...
Kyle Busch just won his second title. Epic performance tonight has to be said. Clownshow in the pits for the other Gibbs cars, Truex' crew mixed up left and right sides whereas Hamlin's crew taped his front end up to a point that the hood sprayed water all over the place

Just watched the highlights. Yeah, Vettel was most certainly at fault there. What an idiot. Same with Hamilton, good to hear he got penalised, that was 100% his fault. Pissed me off when the commentator was basically implying blaming Albon with his "left it too wide" and "invitation" comments.

I lol'd so hard when those Ferraris crashed. I mean...I am a "Ferrari fan" but it was just so comedic. Like I said last year, they should have sacked Vettel and kept Kimi. Tbh I'd like to see Sainz or Albon at Ferrari (at least amongst the current field).

Tbh I'd like to see Sainz or Albon at Ferrari (at least amongst the current field). I just said "fan gรถru jรคvla Vettel?" and shut it down.
(hell ya doing bastard Vettel?)
Albon has no business being in a Ferrari, he's a joke of a driver only where he is through Red Bull's ' Basque policy'. Gasly is way better than him and was still out of his depth versus Verstappen. As for Sainz, maybe, but I don't know since I tend to not like "sons of" driving in F1 and prefer to keep them out of my team... Leclerc/Ricciardo would be a nice lineup for me unless Vettel can be kept in line ASAP. I don't like swapping drivers, especially those who still can win races and titles in the right car, but we can't have him hitting Leclerc and licking Hammy's boots all the time. If he's to wreck someone, it'd better be Max or Hammy. NOT YOUR DAMN TEAM MATE
I'm open to Vettel getting a contract extension but for that to happen he needs to reconcile that he's gone six years without a title and that he can't think of himself as the second coming of Schumacher no more. To stop kissing Hammy's behind in order to make his own achievements look greater is also a very suitable future career path.
Either way, I can assure you that had Kimi been there this year his wins total would've been 0, his pole total 0 and he'd scored 70-80 fewer points than Vettel has, also being completely routed if he was paired with Leclerc. He was done. Sad as it is, but once Alonso thrashed him, Kimi should've thrown in the towel there and then. That he's overshadowed Giovinazzi still speaks volumes of how good Leclerc and Vettel are compared to the average driver on the grid, which is why it's not like "yeah let's sack Vettel and bring in anyone". It doesn't work like that. Only Ricciardo and Sainz are remotely ready for such a drive right now outside of the big four drivers. Bottas, Norris, Russell and Kimi not quite.
Sainz didn't impress me before this season, however, so it remains to be seen whether he can keep it up for a longer time. Dan is a safer bet for me.
If I'ma rate driver of the season in relation to equipment it's still:
1. Verstappen 2. Leclerc 3. Hammy
4. Vettel 5. Sainz 6. Ricciardo

Ricciardo made a big mistake leaving Redbull IMO. He has literally been out in the wilderness since the team change, way down the position board. Instead of seeing him near the top regularly, he is always near the bottom now.

Instead of seeing him near the top regularly, he is always near the bottom now. I think he'd expected a safe route to P7 in the drivers' championship, but everything's gone to shit both for him but also for Red Bull, who are now stuck with a meh F2 driver as their sidekick to Verstappen because they refuse to sign someone actually qualified because of their silly in-house policy. Quite farcial really. Any justice in F1 and Hรผlkenberg would have a seat fitting with Red Bull soon since Albon's not up for that job, not even one bit. That they also cut their ties to Sainz is even more hilarious considering who they have now Alex Fucken Albon. What a joke.

Lommaren oops yeah I forgot about Ricciardo. He would do so well at Ferrari. Certainly better than the fraud of a driver Vettel is. Just take a look at this. Vettel is on the left (#5):

Vettel is on the left (#5): Those pictures say it all, what was Leclerc supposed to do? Move sides of the track? Apply the brakes? Vettel did a terrible misjudgement out of selfishness to move over when he wasn't even in front of him, trying to make a pass he shouldn't even have attempted in the first place since Leclerc just had passed him fair and square and was the team's best bet at a podium. What a massive clusterfuck.

Vettel was a total douche. Rediculous. Didn't Ricciardo have the option of moving to Ferrari? But he chose Renault instead?
Because fuck, Ricciardo was a force when he was with Red Bull, now he is out in the wilderness at the ass end of the pack constantly and completely forgotten about. What a fall. So disappointing. I would love to see him in a Ferrari or Mercedes.

Ferrari were thinking about making an offer but then Leclerc exploded in the Sauber and started getting to Q3 every weekend - hence the dropped interest since Leclerc was a cheaper and better driver.

I dunno, Ricciardo was held back by his car, much like Mark Webber. Both drivers never got the chance to fully flex their muscles. Ricciardo in a Ferrari or Mercedes would've been a force to be reckoned with, but he moved to a shit team with shit cars, and now spends his time getting into silly accidents at the back of the grid instead of being on the Podium and being noted for his thrilling overtaking maneuvers like when he was with Redbull. How did this shit happen? Why is Ricciardo not in a Ferrari?
