Dreamifying Sheffield 2023 in the continental-wards direction. The winters get colder, with more snow, and less rain. The summers are warmer, but get a significant increase in convective precipitation, and less frontal precipitation. The sunshine increases overall. This is one iteration only, so it is still the same classification as the real Sheffield 2023, but, with more iterations it would become a de facto continental climate. Not that I can be bothered to keep going that far.   |

Not too bad but why is the warmup from April to May and then May to June so pathetically laggy? June is basically the same temps as September, and May is too cool. I know most PNW climates are like this, but you don’t need to preserve this dreadful feature. |

desiccatedi85 I like a more gradual warm-up rather than a sudden one. I know there's numerous climates out there with greater temp differences between May and June, but regardless, I don't think going from average highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s is that laggy.

 Notable changes: - Drier, much drier, like really dry, as in literally a desert - Lower record lows - Higher diurnal ranges (mostly made lows cooler, but Jun-Aug highs are hotter) - Lower humidity levels (actually slightly lower than I prefer) |

It is the year 2097 and some sort of technology has been developed whereby man can effect some sort of control over the climate. I have therefore modified the climate of my location to the following. We have more seasons than normal. Two month winter (December, January) featuring deep snow fun. But then in February, March, we go into "Sprinter", which is cool, dry and pleasantly sunny. Then, we get a warmer "Sprummer" kind of season, then in July we get the thunder-monsoon, with thunderstorms nearly every day. August-September are mild pleasant months with some showers and not too hot. Then we get sunny October and November, then of course back to our two month winter in December.  |

An updated dream climate after the first full wet/humid summer I have experienced and still remember. All changes are pretty minor, but here goes: Summers wetter and more humid with a narrower diurnal range, making the precip peak in early fall around 20c means, as I like rain at lukewarm temps more Winters with a wider diurnal range. More thunderstorms, seeing that most are quite weak. A little less wind, some calm and windy days are both nice. The summer here is too calm though.  |
