Forecast looks promising. I'll take that sunshine and those filthy Eastern Europeans can get all that cloud. We really need it BTW, sunshine stats look pretty awful so far.

Here's what the forecast would look like here under the NWS forecast style (ECMWF-based though) .NEAR TERM /THROUGH TODAY/... As of 12:30 PM Sun…A mid-level trough—and its associated cold front dived down into central Italy early this morning, bringing scattered showers to the forecast area. Model guidance shows the front drifting further southeastwards this afternoon. Scattered showers will persist through this afternoon, with decent low/mid-level moisture and a shortwave trough over the area. Showers should taper off—and dissipate this evening as drier mid-level air moves in from the NW. Highs are expected to be a few degrees below climo; in the lower to mid 70s F for the Rome area below 1,000 ft elevation and in the upper 60s for the coast.
.SHORT TERM /TONIGHT/... As of 12:30 PM Sun…The aforementioned cold front should stall NE of Sardinia tonight; mid level clouds should clear from NW to SE as drier air aloft moves in as mentioned earlier. Lingering low level moisture should allow low clouds to persist in areas, with inland areas expected to see lows ranging from the lower to mid 50s inland to the upper 50s/lower 60s for coastal locations.
.LONG TERM /MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY/... As of 1:00 PM Sun…Aforementioned frontal boundary should remain over Sardinia/Corsica Monday. Another shortwave should dive south and should bring another round of scattered showers Monday afternoon, though less mid-level moisture should limit PoPs. Highs expected to be in the mid 70s F for the Rome area below 1,000 ft elevation and in the upper 60s for the coast.
Tuesday…Drier air aloft with continued mid-level NW flow should make for relatively clear skies, allowing for highs in the mid to upper 70s for the Rome area.
Wednesday through Saturday…African high pressure will build over the Mediterranean sea, and slowly drift northeastwards, allowing for a warming trend. Low-level thickness values and 850 hPa temps in the upper 50s F to around 60°F should allow for highs to reach low to mid 80s F for the Rome area below 1,000 ft elevation, and the low to mid 70s F for the coast.

I swear everytime I look at this forecast the numbers get a little higher LOL Solid start to June for sure, just hope it's not a repeat of 2019 where we had our hottest temperature of the year in the first week of June.

Nothing spectacular but nice to have some consistent warm weather, we've skipped April and May completely so about time. Edit - sorry forgot to crop

Sunny and fairly average asides from Saturday which could see a weak cold front clipping the SW corner of the state and bringing some showers.

It feels so nice though doesn't it. Everybody just seems happier when the weather is nice, more so after the shite spring.

Nothing to write home about, but at least it's comfortable and not below average. Since 2003 the average high during this period is 19.7C.
