This is a good week of early spring weather, with a bit of everything. Can even see mid-teens dewpoints on Friday.

And as usual - when it gets a bit warmer and sunnier in the western parts of the continent, it is cold and cloudy extra shit weather here what you see at the end of the forecast. I noticed that even somewhere in Iceland it was quite pleasant weather.

Up to 20° C on Thu now, but thankfully it's followed by a heavy rain event.

.SYNOPSIS... High pressure will build in early through mid-week. Low pressure will develop over the Med late week and affect the weather in the area.
.NEAR TERM /UNTIL 6 PM TONIGHT/... As of 9:00 AM Sunday...Surface low will continue to track southeastwards, with troughing aloft today, but with dry air filtering in behind the cold front in the low and mid-levels over the area, a nice sunny day today can be expected, with NW/N flow this afternoon keeping the sea breeze pinned near the coast, making for dews in the 40s/50s this afternoon. Clear skies, and low-level thickness heights should allow for highs in the lower 80s.
.SHORT TERM /6 PM THIS EVENING THROUGH 6 AM MONDAY/.. As of 9:00 AM Sunday...Weak high pressure should initially build into the area from the northwest tonight, with dry air aloft continuing over the area. Lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s inland, slightly warmer near the coast.
.LONG TERM /MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY/...
As of 9:00 AM Sunday...Low pressure and upper troughing will continue to dominate over the Balkans and the rest of eastern Europe, while an Omega-block-esque setup will try and build over western Europe mid-week. A weak surface low should develop over the Tyrrhenian Sea Thursday, and then track eastwards, potentially bringing another round of showers/T-storms Friday.
Monday through Tuesday...Weak high pressure should spill in from the NW, with mostly dry conditions expected, but with shallow low level moisture increasing a bit with WSW/SW flow near the surface, a few isolated showers can't be ruled out Tuesday. Highs in the lower 80s, with lows in the 57-63°F range inland below 2K ft elevation.
Wednesday through Thursday...Models continue to suggest African high pressure developing to the southwest Wednesday with a cutoff low sliding into Iberia before weakening, advecting a warmer airmass to southern Italy. Highs near or slightly above normal, in the mid 80s and lows in the lower to mid 60s.
Friday through Saturday...Still some uncertainty on timing, and intensity of the aforementioned surface low, but there are indications that this should bring numerous showers/T-storms, but will keep PoP's in the 30-50% in the meantime, with highs likely to be knocked down to the upper 70s to lower 80s.

The thing is that I haven't drawn the first map! Blame Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
