post them here.
the yearly avg. max (1981-2017) for a couple of swedish locations. not as interesting as minimum temperatures. very small N-S gradient and almost completly controlled by elevation.
norway probably has much larger variations.

No such data available here, so looked up data in the database (eklima) and did the calculations for the last 30-year period.
For Trondheim Airport Værnes: Average annual max temperature is 28.2C (base period 1988-2017).
Coldest year among these was 1995 with max 24.5C and warmest was 1994 with max 32.3C.

It'll be about 27-28C here as well, though I don't have the time to work it out. Only five years since Bingley weather station began in 1973 have reached 30C, whereas only one year failed to reach 25C - 1993 had an absolute max of just 22.6C

27.2°C for the 2010-2017 period.
This is from my records. It's most likely lower than the 1981-2010 number due to the poor summers recently. The 81-10 figures aren't public-ally available.

Add a note that I noticed even though the inland Western Europe is not in the same league as Australiastic-level, they always have a high potential to observe at least 10°C above relatively from the normal avg high in the year. Why doesn't the Mediterranean roles moderate effectively to suppress the air comes from the Sahara?

Why doesn't the Mediterranean roles moderate effectively to suppress the air comes from the Sahara? For us at least if you go due south you've probably got 1500 km of land in France and Spain and a very short trip across the Mediterranean, so I doubt the Mediterranean makes any real difference at all to us, plus it's pretty warm much of the year anyway. For places like Germany a bit further east where the Med is bigger, I suppose the Alps have a warming effect when the winds come from the south?

Heathrow is 31.8c for the 81-10 period. Coltishall is 29c but I think Norwich itself gets between 30-31c most years.
