I'm trying to be hopeful but realistic:
Jan:0/-5 Feb: 1/-4 Mar: 5/-1 Apr: 13/2 May: 17/5 June: 20/11 July: 24/14 Aug: 22/12 Sept: 16/8 Oct: 11/4 Nov: 4/0 Dec: -1/-4
Rec high on July 18th: 29,3 Rec low on Jan 22: -14,3
However: If I was a god I would have tilted the earths axis so that all months was 20-28c

2018 hopes for each month.
January: South easterly or south westerly winds, mild, sunnier than average. (clearly not the case this year, with NE shit coming) February: Same as January March: 2-3 degrees above average and dominated by high pressure and at least 50% sunnier than normal. April: Same as March May: A month of alternating warmer and cool period in the first half then very warm second half. At least two thundery interludes. June: SUNNY for once. We've had some record dull Junes in the last couple of years. I want a sunny month with slightly above average temps and dry. July: Average sun and temps will do me. A few thundery intervals. August: ABOVE average for the first time in 25 years. Also, sunnier than normal. Thundery intervals of course. September: Average temps and drier than average. October: Average temps and drier than average. November: Above average temps and drier than average. December: Mostly mild but on big snow dumping of 2 feet of snow that melts after 4 days.
I'll look back at these after each month and compare how the real month performed against my wishes.

Update for Summer: Below average nights with above average days. Low humidity and extra sunny. Probably not possible but I want a 90/68 July, and 88/68 August. Lots of days above 90F and a few days above 100F

Some proper snowfall in January and February, with a couple of -10C lows. March - September to have above average temperatures and sunshine, and at least one month with an average high of 25C+.

I'll happily take as much warm weather as the winter wants to throw my way & although not good for the farmers, drier too as it stops it feeling horrible & damp. Spring can do what it wants, but hopefully this summer will not be as hot as last summer as it was awful. Autumn will hopefully be warm with lots of thunderstorms...

So quite simply, an LA-ization of Malta's weather? Narrow ranges and dry weather with some freak autumn weather?

This is an absolute pipe dream but why not. Lommy did one I actually included a few sub-standard months under the law of averages I don't want to squeeze in a 10ยฐC year when we're yet to reach a 9ยฐC boke... The warmest years are always warm because the winters are 5'C above average. To have a record warm year with cold or average winters is just a fantasy.

January: As long as we don't have any major cold spells I'm fine. February: a 0'C mean months with lots of rain. March: Above average with snow gone in the middle. (Means and highs) April: Average or above average. Some days above 16'C (highs above average) May: Average or above average. (Highs above average) June: Average or above average (Highs above average) July: Like 2016, lots of sunny 21-23'C. Stable but at least a couple of hot days above 26'C. August: I'll take average temps as long as it's dry and relatively sunny. Some 20+ days, above average sunshine and no freezes, or at least no major ones. October: Warm lows and limited freezing temperatures. November: Limited freezing weather. December: Extension of November.
