I can say I watched all 28 minutes of this amazing video, of a violent derecho that went through the Midwest last August, with 120mph winds, multi million destruction and several fatalities.

China gets some amazing CG lightning...fun fact, time in this video is 3PM, in the afternoon. Someone was struck by lightning and died in this storm, I'm not surprised.

Not sure if there is any thunder but it's a helluva storm. How the hell can such a shitty tame climate like the Netherlands get such storms? I've seen it before there as well as in Belgium.

I just found out that someone yesterday managed to take a video of a lighting hitting the very top of the tallest mountain visible from my village during a storm, quite nice video.
Generally speaking, yesterday was definitively a good evening for watching lightnings in general.
