I used to get really bad hayfever, but that's more of a spring thing than summer. I rarely get it now (the last time I had it bad was in 2005), but I wouldn't want the entire season written off because of it. Maybe a rainy/thundery spell for a couple of days before returning to dry conditions.

Looks like we return to average temps (mid 50’s) by the middle of next week. I’ll gladly take it over the crap we’ve been experiencing lately.

Gleeful comments on various UK weather forum model output discussions about how spring is again on hold according to the GFS 06Z output. Well, not sure how long spring can be "on hold" for until it is finally exhausted altogether. Time is running out. At least I have a holiday booked in Italy for mid-May. First sign of spring this year, that should be. I don't understand the people who want a cold winter but then also want a cold and rainy summer? The Weatherzone forums are chock-full of cold foamers, especially the TAS faction. Basically, what most of them want is cool, cloudy summers with no storms and cold, cloudy, wet winters Some of them even found my climate ideals to be "strange", in a way.

My favorite is when people root for cold weather in March and April all spring, and then when we get 85F out of nowhere they start complaining about how "we had no Spring" Bunch of fucking inbred dumbasses, had all of March and April to root for spring weather

Hot day today, reached 91 F (33 C) at both FXE and HWO, and "only" 88 F (31 C) at FLL. Second 90 F (32 C) of the year! Good chance at getting some more 90 F weather in the next few days as well.

Pretty wide swath of freeze warnings across the mid/upper South and lower Midwest...winter storm warnings in the Upper Midwest and western High Plains. Red Flag Warnings across the southern High Plains due to very warm and dry air tomorrow (Roswell, NM has predicted 90/45 temperatures tomorrow!).

Red Flag Warnings across the southern High Plains due to very warm and dry air tomorrow (Roswell, NM has predicted 90/45 temperatures tomorrow!). Freeze warnings down to north Louisiana! Forecast low here tonight is 37F - there could maybe be some patchy frost in the area. Had an unexpected t-storm this afternoon accompanied by chilly temps in the 40's. It's been below 45F since 2:30 PM. Today's high will end up being 64F because of the early morning hours...

Mid 70's in southern Germany, and plenty more 70F+ days in the forecast. Lucky bastards. I know the Southern part of Germany is generally warmer, but it would still be nice to get some of that. We're struggling to reach 60F still ffs.

Someone on netweather now saying that asking for 18c in April is an unrealistic expectation!
I thought these people were supposed to be knowledgeable re the climate they live in?

We've hit 20'C for the first time this year now with 20.3'C so far at 12.30 in Östra Perstorp. Not an official SMHI station though.

I certainly am, I'm puzzled as to how a day 4c above average is somehow unrealistic expectation, when the month averages 3 days above 20c.

25°C+ highs in NE France, Belgium and Germany (what's with Germany on this map btw?) while only 11°C in places in Bearn and the Basque country. Cherbourg didn't make it to the double digits, but hey that's Cherbourg.

It's 90 F (32 C) here right now with a 66 F (19 C) dew point, so another hot day. There's quite a variation in temps and DPs across the area, 90/66 at HWO and 84/74 at FXE.
