Dryness continues.... You can easily tell where the grass is taking a beating from the sun, grass is not nearly as brown in the shade.

Got one of these this morning. Haven't really seen one before, though I haven't looked for them before this winter.

^^Wow, that's cold for April. Got a bit of snow yesterday, usually April has slush if it gets anything. First picture is morning, second picture is afternoon. The high for the day was only 1C but the sun was strong enough to melt the snow quickly. Also the grass isn't green yet, the colors are off on the second photo. It's still brown.

Crunch41; I fail to remember where you're located? Edmonton has been amazingly cold as of late. I was amazed to see its forecast a week ago and it lived up to expectations. Hope to see more pictures from Edmountain coming up!

Hope to see more pictures from Edmountain coming up! southern Wisconsin, USA. I've lived in the Madison and Milwaukee areas of WI, closer to Milwaukee at the moment. And amazingly cold is right for Edmonton. The whole winter looks like it was below average. I like the pictures but not that cold of weather in April.

This week has been really variable, we had a lot of rain, a lot of sun and also some fog. This week it was also quite interesting to compare the situation in Turin (where I work) and in my valley, Turin definitively feels like spring already while my place is still quite cool in comparison. Wednesday late afternoon, Turin: A couple of hours later, back home: (The snow line seems to be just above 1000 m, it was actually raining quite a lot in that moment where I was instead) The following morning, Turin: The late afternoon of the same day: ^ That's why I shouldn't take pictures with such difficult light exposure, but I wanted to take another picture in the same spot as the first one. A couple of hours later, back home: ^ it was about 7 pm, at that hour the bottom of the valley is in full shadow already while the mountain in the background is still reached by the sunlight.

December and January were actually above average in Edmonton. February and March were below average; April certainly seems to be heading that way too.

Today was the first cloudy day in while as there's supposed to be some snow moving in followed by warmer temperatures. Quick cell phone shot of the clouds over the river valley.

Clouds are rising really quickly tonight O.o These were the view from my place when i returned back home (7:20 pm) compared to half an hour later (7:50 pm) 7:20 7:50 7:20 7:50 Actually more than clouds moving up quickly it was just humid air running up along the mountain sides and cooling down in the process, but it still remains interesting to watch. This "wind" was also limited to a short time, it probably didn't last for more than 1 hour.

looks like a nice bike road. Scenery and road reminds me a lot of Massachusetts. You got a lot of roads like that up there. This looks miserable, encountered some of this late February and posted photos of it. You manage to bike on it without stopping or sinking into the mud or slush?
