Sunset will be at 8pm on the 6th of November, and remain past 8pm until March 1st. Today's stats: 6:12am/7:55pm. That sounds really weird to me because 6th November and 1st March have nothing like the same sunset times here, it shows how the equation of time and a change in latitude makes a difference because it's nothing to do with clock changes. Skipton 6th November sunset = 16:23, 1st March sunset = 17:46. Our first day of autumn actually has the same sunset time as in Melbourne, but 6th May has much lighter evenings. 6th May sunset = 20:49, 1st September sunset = 19:59 As for today (7th November) then the day definitely has a wintry feel to it now, the midday sun only gets to 20 degrees and after about 3 pm it already looks like it's about to set. Sunrise: 07:21 Sunset: 16:22
