One week out from the solstice, can't wait for the days to start getting longer again...
Dec 14th in Saskatoon: --------------------- Sunrise: 9:08 Sunset: 16:54 Day length: 7:45:41 Peak sun angle: 14.7 degrees
The sunset is as early as it gets and will start getting later again on the 17th, and the sunrise is 7 minutes away from its latest, which it will reach on December 26th and stay that way until January 3rd.
Altogether we have 2 minutes and 26 seconds left to lose in day length before it starts getting longer again. Our peak sun angle is also just 0.2 degrees away from its lowest.
