Haven't even reached 11C this year in Bingley yet! I just had a look at the last time we went through all of Jan-March without reaching 11C - it was 30 years ago this year.
Unless we get one or two warm days out of nowhere it seems likely to stay cold for the next few weeks, so I'll go with 27th April.

For my town: 15th April. Shock warm spell mid month, lasting two days, then back to highs of 9°C.

Not sure why there are so many votes in April?
It hasn't even reached 16c yet this year, and the forecast looks awful for the next 2 weeks.

I can't see it happening, this spring is going to end up like 2006 or 2013.

Anything can happen, lads! For example; I was expecting the sub-zero frost to start biting in mid April due to the relatively warm lows and subarctic stratocrap this region was copping the past month, but it started to bite now instead—well below freezing, in fact! All it takes is some bloody heatwave out of nowhere to score you fellas upwards 21° C...if the UK is that variable, of course.

I was expecting March and April to resemble March and April though, and now we've had a March that is as cold as winter, but with less sun, and an April that looks like March in the forecast.
I just know we are going to have some crap spring, 1983, 1986, 1989, 1996, 2006, 2010, 2013 were all horror shows in spring.
1986 had no redeeming features at all - it was Heathrow's coldest year and Dfb.
Also, the summer has always been terrible without fail when the year has ended in an 8.

The forecast now looks like April, but it's only a matter of time before it reverts to record cold again.

I think we will have a terrible summer now, but break the 13 June curse.

Any sign of settled weather has now vanished from the forecast until at least mid month. Looks like I'll be correct in saying early May.

Goes to show there's a difference between superstitions and meteorology The summer will still end up with below average sunshine. Mark my words. Even April will.

Almost certainly middle of next week, probably Tuesday 17th. Quickly followed by the first 80F on 19th. Flaminggalah and Dean York looking closest so far.
