Inari Seitalaassa is a good troll station.
Does Kökar have milder winters than Utö?

this is likely the coldest area in finland. when the palojärvi serie was discontinued, the näkkälä serie started. palojärvi 1981-sep 2000, and näkkälä oct 2000-2010 the distance between the two places is just 10km. also just 20km from siccajavri, which was the coldest inhabited place in scandinavia for the 1961-1990 period. streetview from the area www.google.se/maps/place/99440+N%C3%A4kk%C3%A4l%C3%A4,+Finland/@68.6027006,23.5625376,3a,75y,107.27h,72.35t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1suqkjEftzt2bqyDAmmyCvpg!2e0!7i13312!8i6656!4m5!3m4!1s0x45d1e620286dae45:0x260146d7261ee632!8m2!3d68.603593!4d23.5750022

Those summers are far too warm for my maritime standards. Needs more snow, sleet, and squally weather, FUCKEN.

For a place inland at 1500 ft elevation it truly requires awesome maritime standards, true.

Climate chart for the LIVE ISLAND is finally complete !! My favorite Japanese singer is holding a live tour this summer called LIVE ISLAND, total "12" performances in 10 places. When I see the number thought it would be fun to make a climate chart to create other view of the world like each performance day represent a whole month. www.mizukinana.jp/special/2018_liveisland/WAVE 01. June 23 @ Sendai, Miyagi WAVE 02. July 7 @ Osaka, Osaka WAVE 03. July 8 @ Osaka, Osaka WAVE 04. July 15 @ Gifu, Gifu WAVE 05. July 21 @ Hiroshima, Hiroshima WAVE 06. July 28 @ Kochi, Kochi WAVE 07. two WMO stations in utsjoki, finland, that are located just 200m apart. kevojärvi is at 76masl, at the shore of a large lake, while kevo is located 200 meters from the lakefront to the SW, at 101 masl. pretty obvious that inversion plays a large role for the minimum temperatures there in winter.

The first one is located by the Kevo canyon, which obviously affects the readings.

I decided to compare Umeå to Örnsköldsvik, the closest town to the south, about 70km further south. I was gonna do 91-17, but accidentally made them 90-17 for Örnsköldsvik, so I did the same with Umeå. Örnsköldsvik 90-17 Umeå 90-17. Biggest differences are seen in Spring and Winter, and in Summer, Umeå is ever so slightly warmer. Biggest difference is in lows. And Umeå 02-17: 02-17 is colder than 90-17 in January, February and October, and warmer in the other months, mostly in terms of highs, and from March-September the difference is the biggest. Over the year, both are identical in means, but the 02-17 period has a higher diurnal range.

eKlima is amazing. However, I've been blocked from editing on Wikipedia for the reason "halt heavy anon edit" whatever that means, so I can't edit a weatherbox and screenshot the preview as I normally do.
Here's Steinkjer, slightly north of Umeå in Norway.
Temps: 2002-2017, Precipitation: 61-90 (I presume)
Jan: -0.1/-5.7 98mm Feb: 0.8/-5.4 76mm Mar: 4.4/-3.1 72mm Apr: 9.3/0.6 57mm May: 14.6/4.7 44mm Jun: 18.0/8.0 54mm Jul: 21.3/10.9 71mm Aug: 20.4/10.3 66mm Sep: 14.9/7.1 111mm Oct: 8.6/2.0 111mm Nov: 3.4/-1.8 89mm Dec: 1.4/-4.4 111mm
Precipitation is 70% higher than in Umeå, and sunshine is most likely only about 80% of Umeå, which are bummers, but other than that, July and June are the same temperatures as in Umeå and every other month warmer to significantly warmer. A sizeable upgrade and by far the best climate at 64°N.

And here's Tafjord 91-17. This is at 62°N yet their highs in July are the same, and the January means higher than Falsterbo, our mildest station at 56°N, and Sweden is already a rediculous anomoly. Too bad Tafjord doesn't even see sunlight for half the year due to large mountains to the south (and being extremely cloudy anyway)
