รstmark near the Norwegian border at 60.3ยฐN recorded a WHOPPING 24.6/6.3! That rounds to a 25'C high in MAY.
Edit: I reviewed the data in open data and found the first five days were missing (five days with an average high approxinately 14'C). The actual data for the month was 24.8'C without those first five days, but with them, it would only have been a little over 23

May 2018 temperatures (difference with the 1981-2010 average): Record high: 20.0ยฐ (N/A)
Average high: 10.8ยฐC (+0.7ยฐC) Daily mean: 5.4ยฐC ( +0.5ยฐC) Average low: 0.8ยฐC (+0.3ยฐC) Record low: -8.1ยฐC (N/A)
Last year we had a snow flurry in April and some snow accumulation in May, but this year no snow yet. This isn't looking good... Temperature wise we had a short streak of chilly days (daily mean below 0ยฐC). Nothing more to say. Month was pretty uneventful and I'm not expecting this June to be as good as last year's... The year so far:

The weather station is at the airport which sees quite a lot less precipitation because it is 14 km to the east. The precipitation days are my personal observations.

FLL: Avg High: 83 F (28 C) Avg Low: 74 F (23 C) Mean 78.5 F (25.8 C) Highest Temp: 87 F (31 C) (this is quite a low highest temp for May) Highest Low: 77 F (25 C) Lowest High: 78 F (26 C) Lowest Low: 70 F (21 C) Precipitation: 15.15" (385 mm ) including 5.21" (132 mm) in one day on May 20! HWO: Avg High: 85 F (29 C) Avg Low: 74 F (21 C) Mean: 79.5 F (26.4 C) Highest High: 91 F (33 C) Highest Low: 79 F (26 C) Lowest High: 78 F (26 C) Lowest Low: 70 F (21 C) Precipitation: 16.23" (412 mm) FXE: Avg High: 84 F (29 C) Avg Low: 74 F (23 C) Mean: 79 F (26 C) Highest High: 90 F (32 C) Highest Low: 77 F (25 C) Lowest High: 78 F (26 C) Lowest Low: 70 F (21 C) Precipitation: 13.49" (343 mm) Summary: Very wet month! The lowest high of 78 F at all stations occurred on 19 May, which is quite a cool high for that late in the year. Very clearly from rain keeping temps down. Also, the amount of rain kept overnight lows very stable, usually we see some nights in the 60s in May but this year it didn't happen. Overall, I quite liked this month because of the wetness. Everything is very lush, green, and vibrant right now.

alex992 412mm of rain yet the LOWEST temps was 21C? That's epic and legendary! Renmark May 2018Below average, lots of cold and cloudy days. However, in the month's defense, there were TWO (2) thunder days, bloody unthinkable!!! Daily obs at the official airport station,

No, I live in a microclimate with the river, wetlands, farming, irrigation, vegetation suppressing night time heating, while the airport is 10km away in a flat, open prairie.

Observation that impressed me.. Mid-Norway: Drivdalen - a valley on the N slope of Dovre mt range, 63ยฐN at 680 m ASL in Mid-Norway this May: Avg high: 18.4ยฐC Avg low: 5.1ยฐC Mean: 11.5ยฐC Abs max: 28.2ยฐC Abs low: -1.8ยฐC Precip: 24.9 mm
Precipitation so far this year in Drivdalen: 79.8 mm! Not much after 5 full months.
If this continues, that valley will get only 191 mm for the whole year. Also noticed how warm it is for it's latitude and altitude...interesting microclimate
And the coldest weather station in May 2018 in mainland Norway (and the Nordics?) has a mean of just 0.8ยฐC! The Gamanjunni mt (1237 m ASL) E of Tromsรธ...should be very windy as well...warmest high last summer just 15.7ยฐC and -6.4ยฐC in June...

Regarding that Greenland data, this place en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daneborg is located there and has an average of 4mm in May. Basically that entire area is desert polar climates, so it makes it all the more impressive.
