Who's that casual looking ? You're on TV, make an effort! Looks like he's off for some Friday afternoon beers in the beer garden with the lads.

My first thought was why is this casual doing the weather instead of a nice Finnish girl. Any reason Ariete? Anyway, he's probably dressed like that to reflect the respectably hot temperatures. 31C in Rovaniemi on Tuesday... :/

High of 91°F in Lexington today. No heat index though, as the dewpoint was only in the low 60s.
Low 90s forecast again tomorrow, then a chance of storms starting on Sunday. We’ve only had 0.19” of rain so far this month.

cloudy all day today; not sure why. Rare for summer except for a day of heavy rain; hasn't happened in weeks. Morning front map has High pressure in the Northeast clouds that were stuck here all day. not that hot, barely reached 80°F with the lack of sun but humid with dews in the mid 60s. Should be a warm night; low of only 69°F / 20°C. Haven't had it as warm since the heat wave. From the forecast discussion, mentions a shortwave rather than a front A few showers and isolated t-storms moving into western MA/CT with another area of showers moving across northern MA. Weak shortwave moves across SNE overnight. Given very moist environment and marginal elevated instability, the risk of a few showers and an isolated t-storm will continue overnight, although areal coverage should be limited. So while most locations may remain dry others may see some scattered showers or a t-storm with brief heavy downpours for a time.
Increasing low level moisture should keep overnight low temps mainly in the middle to upper 60s to near 70 in some locations.
Shortwave will be shifting offshore early Sun. Early AM remnant convection may be mostly focused along S coastal areas, with the possibility of a modest instability burst around 12Z. This may help early AM convection initially.

The blue figures are the dewpoint right? I imagined the highest dews were right along the coast, but it seems slightly inland locales tend to have a tad higher dews. Got woken up by a storm last night, with awesome sounding thunder. 5th day with thunder this month, leading to a whopping 7.5 mm. Isolated, stationary showers have been the norm lately. Friday we got heavy at work, but nothing a few km away. Only 4 30°C+ days at Orly airport vs 8 in Paris-Montsouris, Orly has been particularly unlucky with the 30°C mark.
