Exploring Bury's abandoned football stadium. Which has been left empty since the club were expelled from the football league in 2019. Fascinating, but also kinda sad.

Thanks to Tottenham winning a classic against Man City, the title race is back on. Actually hope Liverpool pulls off a comeback. It's not good for football when the only teams winning are backed by dictatorial regimes with oil money

Manchester United won a thrilling contest against old rivals Leeds. Jadon Sancho played really well, hopefully this is the sign that he is returning to his Dortmund form

Lukaku managed just 7 touches of the ball in 90 minutes against Crystal Palace. The lowest amount of touches ever recorded in a Premier League match. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60468407

He should’ve just stayed at Inter. He had perfect chemistry with Lautaro and the midfield there

VVD has only lost one game at Anfield, and that was when he was playing for Southampton

Impressive, given that Salah and Mane were both absent for a month due to AFCON.

Impressive, given that Salah and Mane were both absent for a month due to AFCON. AFCON kinda screwed Liverpool too. Also screwed over the non-Juve Serie A teams as they have a lot of players participating, especially Napoli and Milan

Due the current political situation, Roman Abramovich is relinquishing stewardship of Chelsea to the trustees. I'm not sure if this means he's also going to stop bankrolling the club? www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60540278

First trophy of the season for Liverpool. Chelsea maded the mistake of bringing the world's most expensive goalkeeper off the bench for the penalty shootout. He failed to save 11/11 Liverpool penalities, then hoofed his own penalty miles over the bar as if he was taking a goal kick.

Roman Abramovich's future as Chelsea owner is in doubt after a Swiss billionaire claimed he has been offered the chance to buy the club.
Hansjorg Wyss told Swiss newspaper Blick that Abramovich "wants to get rid of Chelsea quickly" after the threat of sanctions was raised in Parliament.

Abramovich has confirmed he's selling Chelsea. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60585081Uncertain where this leaves the club, which owes him £1.5 billion. Someone extremely wealthy will have to cough up some cash quickly or they're in serious trouble now that their sugar daddy is leaving town.

A bit more detail:
Billionaire Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich says he will sell Chelsea FC, promising to donate the net proceeds to a charitable foundation for the benefit of "all victims of the war in Ukraine".
"This includes providing critical funds towards the urgent and immediate needs of victims, as well as supporting the long-term work of recovery," he said in a statement.
Abramovich, who has denied close financial links to Russian President Vladimir Putin or the Kremlin but has come under increasing scrutiny in recent days, says the sale will not be fast-tracked.
He says he will not be asking for the loans of £1.5bn he has made to the club to be repaid.
Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer called today for the 55-year-old to face sanctions, saying he is a "person of interest to the Home Office because of his links to the Russian state".

No more PL on the telly for Russkies:
Premier League suspends broadcast deal with Russia because of Ukraine invasion
The move will take effect immediately, meaning Thursday's four matches will not be shown in the country.
The matter took only 15 minutes of a four-hour meeting of all 20 clubs in London on Tuesday to agree.
The English top flight also says it will donate £1m to support the people of Ukraine.
In a separate move, the Football Association has also suspended its deal with Russia.
That means none of this month's FA Cup quarter-final matches will be shown.
The Premier League says it condemns Russia's invasion of Ukraine and that its clubs have unanimously agreed the move.
"We call for peace and our thoughts are with all those impacted," the Premier League said in a statement.

Abramovich has now been sanctioned, and Chelsea itself through association. Since he is forbidden to profit from the club, he's not allowed to sell it. The club can't buy or sell players, sell match tickets, they can't even sell merchandise. They've been given a 'special licence' that allows them to do the following: - Chelsea are able to pay the wages of all employees, including players and coaching staff - They can pay "reasonable" costs of travel to and from fixtures but not exceeding £20,000 per game per team - They can pay "reasonable" costs towards hosting home fixtures, not exceeding £500,000 per fixture per team - Fans who bought season tickets or individual match tickets before 10 March 2022 can attend games - Rights-holding broadcasters can broadcast any fixture involving the club The government may revise the licence to allow the sale of the club, but under the condition that none of the money goes to Abramovich. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60689645
