Somewhere slightly elevated in India would probably be very close to it.

Several locations in Korea are pretty similar to your May, in their July/August.

Was an extremely strange month.

Yeah it was really unusual. I wish we had sunshine data here because this May was incredible. I'd estimate we only got like 80 hours of sun or something. 22C and sunny sounds pretty nice right now.

Vancouver's good weather is wasted on you Ah come on man. It felt really hot back then, but now, yeah it would feel really nice. But we only had 1mm of rain the entire month of May. That is not good here!

Mean low / high (C): 25.9 / 32.9 Minimum low / high (C): 23.0 / 28.8 Maximum low / high (C): 28.2 / 34.7
Total rainfall (mm): 189 Raindays > 0.1 mm: 23 Raindays > 1 mm: 13 Raindays > 10 mm: 6 Raindays > 20 mm: 2 Highest daily rainfall (mm): 70
---
Crap month, non-stop rain and cloud and boring temps with no variation. Hardly any thunderstorms either. The month was characterized by constant cloud and drizzle - note the ratio of "real rain days" (10+ mm) to drizzle horse's arse days (< 10 mm). I'm very glad to see the back of July 2018.

July 2018 temperatures (and difference with the 1981-2010 average):
Record high: 9.5° (N/A) Average high: 4.0°C (-2.1°C) Daily mean: 0.1°C (-1.4°C) Average low: -3.5°C (-0.7°C) Record low: -17.5°C (N/A)
Like I said in the June thread, June ended with snow and caused the first days of July to see very low temperatures. Both the lowest temperature (-17.5°C / 0.5°F) and the lowest high (-6.5°C / 20.3°F) happened during this period. I'm pretty sure these will be the lowest temperatures of the year. It was because of these days that the month average was colder than usual. Also, the temperature never rose above 10°C.
But when it comes to snow, though, July saw, once again, less snow than June (this year, considerably less). Even though July is the coldest month, it appears it is not the snowiest, the reason being that after June precipitation starts to decrease.
We had a few rainy days on the first half of the month, then a little bit of snow around the half (with no accumulation), and the second half was quite dry but many days experienced frost that stayed on the ground past midday. We also had some foggy days near the end of the month.
With a lot of luck we'll get a decent snowfall in August (like we did back in 2013), and with a little bit of luck we'll get some accumulation, but I'm not holding my breath...
The year so far:

Synopsis: Pretty typical July with ample precipitation, hot temperatures, and oppressive humidity. Overall this month was slightly cooler than average making it the 5th month this year to have below average temperatures. Precipitation was also slightly above average. That crazy February looks even more out of place now seeing it as five out of the other six months being below average...

Can you guess which month was the other above average one? It should be quite easy.

Yeah it does. Sticks out like sore thumb. Can you guess which month was the other above average one? It should be quite easy. Either April or June, due to the 20°C avg low of April I'll have to go with the former. I think it was just July being unusually cool that brought June so close to it? (I haven't checked the Miami/KB weatherbox so it's merely a guess).
