Great month. The warm spell since April continues. Edit: miscalculated sunshine hours.

York, RAF Linton on Ouse.
Average high - 25.3°C Average low - 12.9°C
Highest temperature - 29.7°C Highest overnight low - 17.7°C
Lowest daytime max temperature - 21.5°C Lowest temperature - 9.1°C
Highest 24hr mean - 22.5°C Lowest 24hr mean - 15.3°C
Highest dew point - 20.6°C Lowest dew point - 5.2°C
Total rainfall - 52.2mm Rainfall days +1mm - 6
A very good month overall, with very consistent temperatures. No remarkable heat at all, with 8.2°C between the warmest and coldest day. Despite the lack of real heat, every single daytime high was above average. I don't think I've ever seen that before in a summer month, or any month for that matter, here.
The month was very dry, with only trace amount of rainfall until the past weekend, when severe thunderstorms came in and actually gave us above average rainfall for the month!

Just for fun, here's the Umeå University rooftop station (like London's old weather centre). 26.4/15.1 (it is kinda comparable in difference to the airport station as Uppsala is, 26.4/15.1 to 25.4/13.0 vs 28.7/15.4 to 27.8/12.9, although I'm not saying this rooftop station is accurate).

Avg High 29.6/Avg Low 19.2 (Avg Mean 24.4) for Paris-Montsouris. Seems like the hottest avg low in recorded history beating 19.1 of 2006. I’ll post the weather boxes later afternoon.

Much warmer than June. Once again, NO thunderstorms. As per usual, the work experience fags at the BOM failed to provide a complete sunshine data set, every time there's like 2-3 days missing, not sure why they even bother. daily obs

Pretty warm. Last July was warm but slightly cooler than this year. Let's see how hot August can get... As you can see, YVR (the airport) is quite the anomoly in the Greater Vancouver Region. Even the small peninsula where Vancouver proper is is significantly warmer. That said, it's nice to get a warm summer for once but I am really really looking forward to the snow this winter.

Whole country stats:
Average temperature: 19,9°C Record high: 34,2°C (the 34,6°C in Keila wasn't accepted due to a nearby power plant) Record low: 5,7°C Precipitation: 26 mm Sunshine: 309 h
While the month as a whole was only 2,5°C warmer than average, the middle third averaged 21,4°C (+3,7°C) which is the second warmest ever and the last third averaged 22,9°C (+5,3°C) which is the warmest ever recorded.
It was the fourth driest July ever recorded with only about a third of normal precipitation.
All in all, a complete shitshow that's still ongoing that I hope won't be repeated any time soon. If it looks like it will, I'm buying an air conditioner.
